Did you just see that bull crap call at 3rd!!!Oh, I agree that the umps have had some very questionable/wrong calls in this Series. Fortunately (for me), most have benefited the Rays.
How did they miss that???

That was a horrible call. The play should have never happened though. It should have gone to second.Did you just see that bull crap call at 3rd!!!

Longoria gave Rollins an enema on that play and the ump misses the call? :brick:So far, it does not seem that way tonight.

And NONE of us should be frustrated when they should get calls like that correct. Not that it makes it right, but now you see the frustration of Philly fans in the past few games.
How did it end like crap? Whether it was a 45ft dribber down the foul line or a homerun, they got it done when they had to. We got to see a 5 man infield utilized which I know I don't think I've ever seen done.
They'll finish this game in Philly, no doubt in my mind about that.So if the game gets called tonight do they play in Philly again or do they go back to St. Pete?

After the strike zone discrepancies last night, I'd have to argue with you on that. :lol:Man, I hate to say it...but the umps are really pulling for Tampa Bay aren't they?
Hear me out.
When was the last time you actually saw a field look like that and still have the teams playing? I don't think it was a coincidence that it got called RIGHT after Tampa tied it up.
That game should've been suspended after the Phillies got up. They knew that the weather wasn't letting up...but they decided to let Tampa Bay see what they could do. They got the upper hand because it's a LOT more difficult to play the field in conditions like that than it is in sunny, dry weather.
The score should be 2-1 Phillies...with Tampa Bay at the plate. (In Philadelphia).

The field should have at least been tarped over long before the 6th.I have no words. I don't think I have ever been so livid. You summed up my thoughts perfectly. As much as I didn't want them to win their championship in a called game, I hate that it gives TB the momentum that this does. While I don't think it was done intentionally for TB's favor, its just another example of this BS ump crew. :fork::fork:
That's ok, this city waited this long for a championship, they can wait one more day.

I think they should stopped before they even started the 5th.
Funny ha ha---The Tampa Devil Rays checked out of their hotel Monday before the game and since the game was halted due to weather the Westin Hotel in Philly was totally booked and they could not return to the hotel. They had to go to Wilmington, DE to the Hotel DuPont because it was the closest hotel to Philly that could hold the players and their entrouage.
:shrug:I don't get the humor. They checked out because they were flying home after the game, regardless of the outcome and they had to get different rooms. What's so funny? That is funny about the TB hotel situation! ha ha ha!
:brick: It's the Rays, not the Devil Rays. :brick:Funny ha ha---The Tampa Devil Rays checked out of their hotel Monday before the game and since the game was halted due to weather the Westin Hotel in Philly was totally booked and they could not return to the hotel. :brick:And Tampa doesn't have a baseball team:brick::brick: It's the Rays, not the Devil Rays. :brick:
