Rays tie the game in the 9th. Wakefield comes out of the bullpen for the 10th and pitches a gem. Bottom of the 12th, Carlos Pena hits a walkoff off of him.

Anyone else see the woman that tbs showed last night after the game with the dyed blue hair bawling in the seats? :lookaroun

I'm not sure who I want to win this one. I think it would be a lot of fun seeing the Phillies play at Fenway and both cities have such passionate fans (not that Tampa doesn't as well). But, if they do play the Sox, I'm dreading listening to the Fox announcers already. The Sox will be like the golden children who can do no wrong. It's like they pick the "popular" side from the beginning and do nothing but praise them. They did the same thing year after year with the Yankees. I'll probably end up just watching it on mute and listening to Harry Kalas call the game on the radio.

Congrats to the Rays and their fans. They played great all season long and when it mattered, they got the win they needed. Good luck to them against the Phillies. I know I'll be rooting for the AL rep this year.
