Fellow DVC Members: Are we owed something???

Minor glitch but no regrets My husband & I became DVC members back in Dec 08. The only thing that upset me was I swore & so did DH, our rep said we could be on the DDP & not everyone in the room had to join. (I had just done Magic Your Way the year before & added the DDP for both my daughter...

    Sci Fi Resturant Question

Oh yes you can. Got my TIW card last month & plan on using it there next month. Nice how it allows alcohol too! :sohappy: And they do serve alcohol at Sci-fi (I had an oreo cookie with rum sooooo delicious!) only at the tables, didn't see a bar. 50's Prime has the seperate bar when you walk in.

You could definitley "Dress to the nines" here. If your wife wants to wear a gown I say go for it...but do compliment her in a nice suit & tie. I myself wore a silver cocktail dress while my husband wore his dark pants with a sports jacket & tie. I said no to the khakis. Don't get me wrong...

    Allstar Movies or Music

Only stayed at Movies back in 2007. The decor was nice & colorful. I normally would have stayed at Music in the past since I was a band parent, but all my kids are grown now. The pool at Music seems pretty cool though.

    Complaint letter to Disney?

My daughter & I came upon a rude cast member working in Tomorrow Land & immediatly reported her directly at Guest services. I've been to Disney many times over & it was the first time we ever encountered a problem. They wrote down what we said & hopefully took care of it.

    Victoria and Alberts questions

My husband & I were there back in Dec. There were a couple items on the menu if I recall that were extra (Kobe Beef) that was $35.00 more pp if you wanted it. I must admit the Elk was far better than the Kobe & I'd never tried Elk till that evening. Overall the service & food were...

What are your first childhood memories of Disney?

My first memory of Disney World was sitting in front of the TV back in October 1971. I was 2 weeks shy of being 11. I was completely mesmorized by all the excitement going on the day of the Grand Opening & wanting so much to be there among all those lucky kids. I grew up pretty poor (my dad left...

Really want to do it Mission Space. I'm going to try & do it this June. I've done everything else but I'm hesitant to do Mission Space for fear of getting ill. :hurl: Can someone tell me how it compares to Rockin Roller coaster & Everest? I'm not good at the Mad Tea Party either, did it...

    The Perfect Age?

6 was GREAT for my kids The young lady in the photo, my baby, was celebrating her 6th birthday when we first went to Disney & she remembers some of it. She was still afraid of the unknown & would ask at every attraction, mostly the shows, "What's going to happen mommy"? Being there for the...

Sci-Fi Dine in or 50's Prime Time?

I like both mainly for it's atmosphere. Sci-Fi had some really cool alcohol drinks :slurp: & 50's was neat to hear the servers interact with us & eachother. Food wise? I'd have to say 50's for me. I usually only get fries & a shake at SciFi. Ya just never know
