Why Isn't Apple Prevelant at WDW?

I've always wondered the same thing! And holy crap are there a lot of Apple haters here. I for one wish Apple was at Disney. And I find non-Apple products boring, because ugly plastic-y computer boxes with a less than stellar operating system (to put it nicely) are sooo amazing.

Disney YOU HAD BETTER START LISTENING...

I'm so sick of these kinds of threads. Honestly, if you don't like it, don't go. And then don't complain about it at "An Unofficial Walt Disney World FAN Site".

    Four Parks: One Stale World?

I know this has already been said, but most people only visit Disney World so many times in their life, many just once or twice so just because they aren't updating as often as you like doesn't necessarily mean that Disney World is "a pale shadow" of what it was before. Disney's known for...

    Grocery Stores near WDW

Haha, oh yea - my bad! Come to think of it, I guess the Ticket and Transportation isn't that close to that Hess. :hammer: It's still a third Hess on Disney property though! :ROFLOL:

    Grocery Stores near WDW

There are actually three Hess on Disney property, the two already mentioned - the one right across Boardwalk (possibly take a bus to Boardwalk, walk like 5 minutes to Hess right across the entrance) and the one by Downtown Disney across where the Pleasure Island sign was (also bus-able). The...

Which deluxe resort do you recomend?

They're both amazing hotels. They've both been renovated recently so you wouldn't have to worry about having an older room at one versus the other (aka they both have flat screen TV's if that matters). With Polynesian it's obvious you have the monorail access and views of Wishes from the dock...

    Grocery Stores near WDW

Or...if you really wanted to get to Goodings on the cheap, you could ride the bus from Wilderness Lodge to Downtown Disney (since the ex-Pleasure Island side is extremely close to it) and just walk to Goodings. From Downtown Disney all you would have to do is walk through the Non-Disney-Hotels...

do what you do best - A little help please guys!

I know you already booked your vacation - but here's my two cents anyways! :p Definitely Yacht and Beach Club, but now I'm gonna get nit-picky. I would pick Beach Club over Yacht Club for a honeymoon planned for a wife. Beach Club is a lot more "cuter" and feminine and and I've gone to both...

    Favourite store in WDW

Mitsukoshi at Epcot's Japan - hands down.

    Do you do this too???

Oh you know it! I plan my clothes to color coordinate with the hotel on check-in day - for example, Beach Club: I make sure to wear summery plaids, Animal Kingdom Lodge: browns and earth tones, Yacht Club: blue, red, and/or white stripes. Pretty compulsive? Yeah, I know. :lookaroun

Disappointed with very few fun room displays at Pop this year

The first couple of times I stayed at Disney, I didn't even know what a towel animal was! There's been at least 3-4 trips where there's been no towel animals left by mousekeeping. I never realized that it was mandatory. Then there's been times where they've arranged all the stuffed animals in...

    Fantasmic...Overated

I also think that Fantasmic is overrated! All I can remember is a large time spent projecting movie clips on water - which gets boring real quick. It wasn't worth it for all the waiting and the whole kit and kaboodle to get to it.

    A Bazillion Brazilians

We were at Typhoon Lagoon just this past Wednesday and half the park must have been all people from Argentina, and they were all females too. Oh, and talk about risque swim attire! They must have different standards for swimsuits... :zipit:

Best place to watch Wishes & Illuminations without actually being in the parks

For Wishes - I'd say the dock at Poly or Grand Floridian (the audio/music is synced up through the speakers on the dock too). For Illuminations - the bridge that connects Boardwalk and Beach Club. It's just high enough to be able to see the fireworks, but you can't hear the audio in this case...

20 minutes driving and we're there.

    Favorite Hotel

Animal Kingdom Lodge is absolutely amazing! I've stayed there so many times. If you go, make sure to get a Savannah View room - there is nothing like seeing real live safari animals right outside your hotel room! Even if you don't get savannah - just go right outside your room into the...

Which water park is better Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon?

Well, non-thrill attractions at Blizzard Beach are: the lazy river, the ski lift (if you aren't scared of heights), the choppy wave pool, and some of the various slides. I'd still recommend Typhoon Lagoon, but you can still have a good time at Blizzard Beach too!

Definitely good air conditioning - I would have no worries! Just a little noisy since they are under the window units.

Boardwalk, Yacht or Beach - Help

I'd say that BWI and BC are equally gorgeous! I just love the themes on them both. Something to note though - the rooms are probably going to change on BWI if you're staying there NEXT summer since they are doing refurbs right now. The lobby and everything else will probably stay the same...

Which water park is better Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon?

If you love thrill rides - Blizzard Beach. I like Typhoon Lagoon a lot better though. Typhoon Lagoon has a more relaxed, paradise resort feel to it where as Blizzard Beach is more "action-packed". Blizzard Beach caters to more teenagers and young adults (from what I've seen) - BB has Summit...
