    What would you do?

I agree. You're hardly in your room, so go with the cheaper option.

    Best Restaurant in DTD?

We love T-Rex, but unfortunately it's not on the dining plan.

    UGH Packing

Try rolling the clothes instead of folding them. I was shocked at how much more room I had when I rolled the clothes instead of folding. I was able to fit 10 days worth of clothes, diapers, etc. for my DD1 & DD3's together into 1 large duffle bag. We drove down so we didn't have to worry...

    I'm guilty of...

My DD4 does the same thing! It drives my husband crazy but I think it's adorable! LOL We're planning to surprise her and her sister (DD2) with a trip in January as a Christmas present. We're going to put hidden Mickey's on their presents with clues.

    Road Trip Food?

I forgot to mention breakfast foods. We leave in the evening & drive all night. That way the kids sleep until Virginia & the drive doesn't seem as painfully long for them. We aren't big breakfast eaters, so I usually make some mini muffins (just right for their little hands) for the ride...

    Road Trip Food?

We (me, DH, DD2, DD4) make the long drive from Utica, NY. We pack cold cuts & macaroni salad in a cooler for a picnic at a rest stop along the way. Some other essentials we pack are: cheez-it mix, cheese, pretzels, grapes, green pepper strips, apple slices, Disney shaped fruit snacks, organic...

    grumpy dwarf

The next time you visit, ask at Guest Relations where you can catch Grumpy. They will do their best to help you track him down so you can get a pic!

    cars question

Rob562 is right, there is only room for 1 vehicle at the cabin, but you can park 1 car in the lot near the check-in building. Are you an AAA member? You could be eligible for a discount with some car rental companies. We were able to book a van through Hertz last July for 10 days with...

The most you've paid for flights...

The most I've ever paid is $300 per person round trip from upstate New York using Southwest. It costs us approximately $600 & 24 hours to drive down. Although I've flown down a few times, most of the time we drive because it's the cheaper option as a family.

    Which restaurant?

The Liberty Tree Tavern is a nice choice. I really like the pot roast there. It's traditional American food (reminds me of my grandmother's cooking - yum!), so it's sure to please everyone in your group. Enjoy your trip!

    Best Moderate Resort

We took our family of 7 last year & stayed in a Fort Wilderness cabin. It was great! We were really only in the cabin at to sleep & for 1 meal a day. We found the cabin to be spacious enough for that. One of our favorite things about staying there was the fact that it was a 15 minute boat...

If you could go to WDW with 1 Celeb?

Definately Johnny Depp, but he would have to be in character as Captain Jack Sparrow! (I apologize to my loving husband for this post.)

    Meal Ideas

Does that mean it can't be in a park? Will you be park hopping your last day or in a specific park? There are so many great restaurants to choose from, I need more information from you! Sorry!

Please help us decide on time frame

I'm a teacher, and I say as long as your kids can keep up with the work they will miss, then go in May for the flower festival! It's always so beautiful!

    Help With Choices-Resorts. 4 Adults 2 Babies

Have you thought about the Fort Wilderness cabins? We had a group of 5 adults & 2 toddlers in a cabin last summer & we loved it! Magic Kingdom was a quick 15 minute boat ride away - a huge bonus with the current monorail issue!

    Resort Pack 'n Play's

We used their pack & play on our trip last year. It was clean, but I wiped it down with a Lysol wipe first & brought our own sheet & blanket because my daughter has sensitive skin. You never know when you are borrowing one, but we were quite pleased with it! Enjoy your trip!

    Photopass Value?

You should be able to find photographers just past the entrance to each park (pics with park icons in background). Red boxes with Mickey's glove (on park maps) indicate character greeting areas. You can check your times guides or with guest services if you are looking for a pic with a specific...

Crowd level end of jan/early feb

I find it odd that you can't book at Le Cellier yet. We were able to make our reservations for character dinings a month ago & we are going the week before you! Why is Le Cellier different?

    Adr help

If you had to choose just 1 character dining, I would suggest Chef Mickey's. The Fab 5 appeal to boys & girls equally. You better hurry up and see if they have any times still available. People start making reservations 6 months in advance!

Packing Vent...the fun kind of bellyaching:)

As soon as you stop looking for them, they will appear! Look for something else & you will find your missing Disney stuff! I have 2 girls under 4 & we are surprising them with a trip to WDW in January. I've started to throw things in my Disney box as I come across them. Don't forget to stop...
