What would you do?

Given these 2 options, which would you go for? Both are for the same 6 nights in February.

Thing is, I LOVE the WL lobby and being close to the restaurants. Plus, I like getting daily housekeeping. However, as you can see, big price difference.

I am a cheapskate. A view means very little to me. I do not spend time in the room, I fear my DD falling from a balcony, and prefer being mobile at WDW except when sleeping.

Maid service is over rated if you keep the room together yourself.

This. Unless you're going to be spending a lot of time in the room, go with the studio and use the savings on other stuff for the trip.

To me the only difference there is the housekeeping which certainly isn't worth over 700 bucks. The villas building is a stones throw from the main lobby, so you are just as close to everything as you would be at a room in one of the far wings.

Holy smokes is that a price difference! I too LOVE the lobby there, but for the difference, I'd skip the maid service and walk over to lobby to eat

I may be biased due to being a DVC'r, but I would stay in the studio. It really isn't much further away from the action. The price difference would clinch it as well. It a great time waiting to happen either way.

I agree. You're hardly in your room, so go with the cheaper option.

Villa Studio for two reasons (If it were me).
1. The price difference is enormous.
2. I hardly spend time in the room when staying at a WDW resort.

I love the WL, but I think I'd stay in the villas for that price. I really like the lobby at the villas and find it is a really nice place to relax and read a book, if you're into that sort of thing. I also enjoy working out at the health club there as well as using the villa's pool since it seems to be quieter and more intimate. Just depends on what you want, but $400 is a good chunk of change for just about the same experience.

Unless you have hundreds of thousands in the bank, how could this even be a question? As some have said the lobby isn't very far away and remember to request a studio room closest to the main building.
