Best Restaurant in DTD?

My husband & I are planning to go see La Nouba during our January 2012 trip, and I'd like to have dinner in DTD beforehand. We'll be on the dining plan, so I'd like to go somewhere that will accept it. What is the best restaurant there for a pre-show dinner? I've heard good things about Raglan Road, but don't know much about any of the other restaurants. Thanks for the help!

With the options on the dining plan, I think your best bet is Raglan Road. The food is good and a nice take on pub fare. I have been there a couple of times and really enjoyed it.

I've never eaten at Raglan Road (and it looks like I need to) but I really like Fulton's Crab House. Of course, only if you're a seafood person. It's probably not what you're looking for but my true favorite is Earl of Sandwich. I think it's awesome but it is Quick Service.

We tried Earl of Sandwich in August, and I agree with you - it is awesome! We'll definitely be using a Quick Service credit there next time. I'm just starting to like Seafood (my DH loves it) and I've got an ADR for Coral Reef for another night, although looking at the menus, Fulton's looks way better!

I'm thinking Raglan Road might win out for our pre-show dinner.

Sounds good. I happen to be a fan of Coral Reef too! The food is good but I love the atmosphere! Enjoy La Nouba...It is absolutely fantastic. You're sure to love it and if you've never seen a Cirque Du Soleil show, be prepared to be blown away! =)

Not sure if it is on the DDP but Portabello's is getting rave reviews in the trades. I have read in two different magazines this week write ups on this place. I definitely want to give it a go next time we are there.

I haven't been there either... but it is supposed to be fantastic! I've heard nothing bad about it! I've eaten at Raglan Road though and I really enjoyed it! The food and the service were great!

Of course... Earl of Sandwich takes the cake for best food ever at Downtown Disney... but like it was said early - it's quick service, not table service.

I was just at Portabello's in January, and it is fantastic! Great Italian food and atmosphere. Unfortunately it is not on the DDP.

I highly recommend this restaurant:)
