Disney and More is reporting Universal is working on a new theme park:

I disagree. It completely takes you out of the Tron world and then puts you back into it only seconds later. It diminishes the show aspect for the riders. Thematically, IMHO it makes much more sense to keep the riders fully enclosed in The Grid and the story. Not to mention it allows Disney to...
I have friends who helped build Tron and also friends who helped open Tron. Both, who don't know each other, gave me the same reason as to why part of Tron is outside. I'm inclined to believe them.
The reason Tron goes outside the show building isn't because it looks cool, it's because of Chinese culture. China has a "shame culture", meaning (in this case) if you were to enter the building for Tron, realize right before you got on that it's a roller coaster and back out, you would lose...
Unless, of course, they instead choose to gut the building to install a more properly intense coaster better in line with the demographic of Monsters, Inc. That would, IMO, make much more sense.
If you're upset with only four rides in DHS, just wait until TSM closes so they can flip the entrance. That's going to take a little time since they're going to need to build a tunnel of sorts to get people from the exit of the original track all-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l the way back to Toy Story Land...
Can anyone create a Google map of Universal Orlando and its relation to its recently acquired land? I know in my head both are relatively close to one another, but having a visual would, I feel, help me and others.
I just got my transfer accepted for Hollywood Studios attractions! I'm going to be working the new Star Wars land, and I'm going to be posted at the Launch Bay until the new attractions are ready enough for us to be trained!!!! Very excited!! I transfer on Nov. 22nd, so it seems like the Launch...
Not a "snack" per say, but one thing I've always enjoyed doing is buying a frozen butterbeer, then buying a regular butterbeer and pouring it over the frozen butterbeer for a butterbeer float. (it's AMAZING - yw).
No clue, we're six years out. Six *months* before Frozen came out, I'm sure the response would of been, "Eh, we'll probably have one or two people from Frozen at the Studios for like a month or so." And look what happened.
I was told awhile ago that yes, MK will be getting a new electrical parade. The leader I talked to said, "I hope it's not Paint the Night," but they said it in such a way that led me to believe that it's probably going to be Paint the Night. (YMMV)The MSEP wasn't supposed to last this long - it...
I tend to lurk more than not (due to being a CM), but this was a piece of news that came my way that I wanted to share. You're welcome to believe it or not.
We (the CMs in the part of MK where I work) had a meeting with two of our leaders who were talking about various internal things (high...
There's a travel agent-y conference thing in Orlando right now (happens about every four years), and each of the theme parks books them in for an evening to woo them and get them to talk up their stuff. For example, MK is closing early on Sunday for that exact reason.
Very excited, but a quick question:
Everyone seems convinced that the Nintendo stuff is going into KidZone. Does that mean that what we'll be given is not the D and E tickets we're all hoping for, but rather things like a "family" coaster and kiddie rides with a heavy Nintendo theme? I'm not...
