What To Do If It Rains?

Even if it rains, you'll have fun! I was down there last month when it was raining practically all day every day, and my bf and I had a blast. We brought cheapy ponchos from home that were lighter and offered better protection from the rain (no snap-up sides) than the Disney ones, and we took...

    Disney - Summer Nightastic

I actually watched Magical and was surprised at teh movies they were using in it. Also, having not been to DL since I was about 8 years old, I was wondering about hte contraption they use to fling Tink/Dumbo around... is it a crane?

Some sad news - what can we do?

I think you would have to have vacation insurance, either through Disney or possibly another outlet. Did you purchase it when you booked? I'm so sorry to hear about your boyfriend's uncle. I will send him tons of good vibes.

WDW Picture of the Day (Part 6)

It was from Tuesday the 19th, and yeah, it was a nice start to a very rainy trip! Saturday was our last day, and we thought we were finally going to have a rain-free day, but then at 7:30 it started to downpour.

    WDW losing it's magic??

just got back from 5 days at the world, and had a wonderful time. My boyfriend hadn't been since he was about 10 years old, and he definitely had a magical experience. Everything was clean, everyone was friendly, and we didn't notice any major issues in rides or anything else (aside from the...

    ABC Commissary Changes

we ate there sort of reluctantly last week (QS DDP, had dinner in HS at Pizza Planet) and it was definitely a forgettable experience. Zero options and what we had wasn't very good. I remember enjoying eating there even just a few years ago.

Have crowd levels been more/less/or the same as predicitons this month?

May 19-24 crowds were moderate. Never waited more than a posted 20 minutes (actual 10 or less, many things being walk-on) for anything except the Tomorrowland Speedway. Longest waits I saw were for TT and Soarin at Epcot -- about 60 min and 80 min, respectively. Of course, the weather may...

Illuminations Torches Not Working on 5/22

I was there last night, and was just happy when the torches turned on, because I was preparing myself to not see Illuminations at all. The issues with the Earth barge were disappointing, and it was very hazy throughout Epcot, but I think it was, as others have said, issues with weather and not...

    Converting your reservation? refund time?

i had to cancel not one but two reservations in the course of planning my trip (leave TOMORROW WOOO). I'm not sure why they would have to cancel your reservation rather than just adding on the dining/tickets. But anyway, if you do have to cancel the reservation, each time it took about a week...

FINAL Itinerary - How does this sound?

we're going down during the same time, and i was wondering if it made sense to use the evening EMHs? we won't have park hoppers, so we can't spend the day at another park adn then hop to the emh park once it quiets down.

    Interesting Disney Quote

There's also this quote: I would rather entertain and hope that people learned something than educate people and hope they were entertained.

Problems logging on to My Reservation

Have you tried calling? Frankly, I'd be worried something was wrong with my reservation! Give them a call and they can add the ME info and maybe they can figure out what's going on. Also, try clearing your cookies!

What Was Your Most Memorable Moment In WDW?

for some reason, every tiem I think of Disney, I think of this one memory, which is kind of silly. I was 8, and my family and I were walking through the Magic Kingdom at night. I had one of those cone-shaped princess hats, though that isn't relevant to anything haha. We were walking across a...
