    Bus Loops

We just came back from AKL. Buses are direct to parks. However, park buses pick up at Kidani Village (DVC) first and then Jambo House. The only buses stopping at water parks were those going to DTD. Stopped on the way to DTD and on the way back. Buses for DTD run the opposite way to the park...

    Awful Exprience at O'Hana

I too would of asked to speak to a manager. Last meal of our trip, the Saturday night before Christmas we had a terrible meal at Liberty Tree Tavern. There were only 2 of us and the server completely ignored us the entire meal. Our bread was cold and hard as a rock, the salad was limp and...

    Worst Que

For us, probably Space Mountain. Being indoors, the noise factor can be over the top if it's crowded and the line is long. We always try to fast pass if we can.

    Taxi service around the World

We took a taxi last year from the CR to POFQ. Fare was $14 with tip. There were bus problems leaving the MK bus bays that night so we walked over to the Contemporary and grabbed a cab from there. I don't know how much further on Jambo House would be from FQ but probably not that much.

    Room or Pool?

Room over pool for us. It's where we want to come back and relax after hectic days in the park.

    Port Orleans & Elevators

As far as I know, only Alligator Bayou at PO Riverside doesn't have elevators and I believe they are only 2 floors. The buildings at PO French Quarter have elavators and I believe the Mansions at Riverside do also. We usually stay at French Quarter however.

Adult trip alone value or moderate?

If it was me, I'd choose POFQ. I like the live jazz at Scat Cat's and the boat to DTD. I also like the fact that it's a small compact resort. For our upcoming trip (there's 2 of us), I had a room only deposit on a value, Pop Century, and a moderate, POFQ. We waited to see how our finances...

How to get to the parks before the parks open?

We have done many early morning tours and early morning breakfasts and have always used WDW transportation. We stay at POFQ also. Park buses start running 1 hour before park opening as is the standard CM response, but breakfast buses are running earlier than that at least by 7:00 am to get...

Candlelight Processional Dinner Packages and infants

I haven't done the Processional with an infant but I think you will find it works like any other dining reservation. You need to include her in the head count, but remember you're not paying for the Processional in advance. You're paying for it when you've had your meal either with the DDP or...

Does WDW allow you to eat your CS meal in a different CS location?

I think as long as someone in your party is ordering from the QS where you will be sitting it isn't a problem. This is what we saw happen at the Liberty Inn in Epcot while we were there for lunch las August. A family came in and sat down. Some of them had brought in Turkey Legs for lunch from...

    qustion about wheelchair

I would suggest renting an ECV from Walker Mobility for the entire trip. When my daughter was diagnosed with stress fractures just before our trip one year, we rented an ECV from Walker Mobility. They deliver it directly to your resort and pick it up afterwards. When we checked into the Poly...

    Guest Assistance Pass Advice

For sure get a Guest Assistance Card. As others have said, approach the first cast member you see at the attraction. They will direct you where to go. Each attraction may handle things differently. Sometimes we've been directed to the fast pass line and sometimes to the wheelchair entrance...

    Question on Making Online ADRs

"If you want breakfast, make one for another location (if you can, like Crystal Palace) and then go up to the podium at CRT and ask if they have anything and tell them you are willing to wait." Problem with doing this is you have to leave a CC number to hold the reservation at Character meals...

    Wild African Trek

Agree with Master Yoda. We asked about it a few weeks ago and CM said booking is 90 days out. They also said to call back a few times before the 90 days because sometimes the booking window will change and they will open it up farther in advance.

Where to eat for Moms (70) 1st visit?

You could do the afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian.

Since it's your 2 daughter's first time, what about the new Royal Princess rooms at POR.

    Unhappy with Magical Express Timing

This is correct. If you are renting a car you will have to pick up and transport your own luggage to the resort otherwise, your luggage will be left at the airport. You have to be checked in for the bus for them to transport your luggage. Kind of like flying now. Luggage won't be transported...

    2012 dining plan question

Don't most of the desserts on the QS plan come more or less packaged? I know we've ordered cookies as our dessert and they always came packaged. That way, you could in fact take the dessert with you for later which we have done with the cookies.

People who have done Backstage Magic.

Absolutely for safety reasons. When we did it we toured the carpentry and metal shops. They also gave us safety glasses to wear. When we did it, they were completing the cars for Mission Space.

Has guest customer service ever responded to an email for you?

In answer to your question, yes you should get a reply from Disney. It can however, take a couple of weeks. We had a not great dinner at The Wave on our recent trip (Aug. 20 - 28). We did speak to the manager when we were there and he refunded the cost of the meal. However, when we came home...
