    UK Flights

I usually fly with united and book direct with them via their uk website. You do go via washington dulles or chicago but to be honest I actually find it more convenient than flying direct to Orlando. This might sound odd but it's mostly because when you fly direct to Orlando from the UK the...

    International College Program from UK

Yummy Jobs handles all of the ICP applications for the UK and have all the details on their website. the team there are all really helpful so if you've got questions about the programs then feel free to ask them. I know all the applications for the summer program are dealt with the previous...

Walt Disney World now twinned with....err Swindon?

No offence to WILSON-UK but I'm a sure a lot of people read/heard about this and like me went "cool! ....Swindon???" After a couple of days reflection I think overall it is a good thing. It gets more visitors to WDW and potentially increases tourism in a place that most Americans would probably...

    Favorite WDW Smell

The smell of freshly baked cookies on Main Street. Sometimes I wish that I could just bottle it up. Oh wait, they do that already! :ROFLOL: Cant say I'm a fan of the burning smell or the oranges like others. They're a bit too strong for me. The Contemporary does smell nice though - gives me...

    Checking ages at gate?

If your brother doesn't think that his youngest will be able to do most of the things at WDW then why don't they wait a couple of years until the kid can. Personally, I was always a tall kid so I got to go on pretty much everything from quite a young age but I've had lots of friends who (at...

    Great Movie Ride Refurb/Redo?

Personally I like the ride pretty much the way it is. There are a few things I would change (or at least be okay with them changing anyway). First off I HATE the new outfits that they brought in a couple of years ago. Bring back the old ones! The new ones make all the cast members look like...

    Missing Millionaire....

It opened April 2001 (I think it was about the 7th but I'm not 100%). I was in the hotseat exactly a year later, second show of the day (which happened to be the year anniversary of me seeing it). I won Fastest finger (amusing because the kid next to me was telling his dad the answer and was...

    Indiana Jones Accident?

Does anyone know what the average number of serious (as in potentially life threatening) accidents is per year at WDW. Just wondering if most of this is just that the media have picked up on it. In my mind these last two deaths (i.e. not the monorail one) could really have happened to any of...

People who STILL don't know how to use Fastpass....

I don't understand the objections to large groups using fastpass. Why shouldn't they be allowed to use it. It makes no difference if the 30 people allocated to whatever time slot are together or not. it's also a lot easier (and more pleasant for everyone else) if one person from the group gets...

    Old Key West toiletries

You'll get about the same amount as someone would get for one night at a regular hotel (in each bathroom) plus one load's worth of tide and a small amount of washing up liquid. If you request more then they will charge you for it but I believe you should be able to buy some in the shop there. I...

    Pregnant and a scooter

I'd have thought they'd be more likely to wonder what you're doing in Disney at 7 1/2 months pregnant than worrying about whether you're using a scooter or not.

What are your opinions on this???

I don't know how many of you are going/what the car situation is/etc but personally I'd stay at the Poly for a week and then rent a villa. That way you're in total comfort, don't have to worry about other guests, get your own pool and save loads of money on food because you're not buying it from...

    $79 Base Ticket

Why are people focussing on the fact that you're paying $80 a day rather than the one that you're only paying $5 more per day. Quite frankly if people were prepared to pay $75 a day to go to Disney then why should they object to paying $80. As for the making 3yo pay comments for as long as...

    Planning a solo, cheap trip

If you're staying in a disney resort you get DME. It's not related to packages or anything. Another thing that could save you money on food is to know that some of the extra stuff on the menu basically constitutes a meal (for example figaro fries at Pinocchio's village Haus). Having that with...

What do you need in able to take advantage of extra magic hours?

No more wristbands :( To he OP: The tickets you've bought sound fine to use EMH. If you hadn't bought the park hopper option then you'd need to make the park that you wanted to do EMH for that day the only park you went into but seeing as you do have park hoppers that won't be an issue.
