For the people who fly from the UK, where do you book your flights? We usually book with virgin but for some reason the prices are really expensive for the dates we want!

We usually go with Virgin, but their prices have gone way too high. Last year we used Tesco points, and managed to get over £1000 off our holiday. You have to book a full package with Virgin though, not just flights.

If you are flying from Manchester, try booking through Continental. You will be on the same plane you would be if you booked with Virgin.
We did this for our trip in August and saved quite a few £'s.

Also don't forget that they are operating some flights from Glasgow now as well.

I found cheaper flights on Continental Airlines! I'm still rather devastated that virgin rose their prices.

Thanks guys!

Edit - Oh they're stopover flights.

we looked at direct flights from Manchester & London with Virgin and found them to be expensive plus we would have additional costs of getting to airport, airport parking etc. we find Aer Lingus out of Birmingham - 15 mins from home - via Dublin lower than anyone else, so we are using them. they only operate into MCO on Tue/Thu/Sat.

We found Virgin quite expensive this year. We usually fly First Choice or Thomas Cook from Birmingham or East Midlands.

We're going with BA this year from Gatwick on 15th Sept. Cannot wait!

I usually fly with united and book direct with them via their uk website. You do go via washington dulles or chicago but to be honest I actually find it more convenient than flying direct to Orlando.
This might sound odd but it's mostly because when you fly direct to Orlando from the UK the majority of people on the flight are British so it takes longer to clear immigration. It's a lot quicker at the stop-over cities. then when you get off at Orlando you go straight to the luggage carousel, pick up your bags and then head to Disney. Far less hassle.

We are another family that usually fly Virgin but found them too expensive this year.

It's really going to depend on availability on the day you want to fly as to who will be the best. We are flying American Airline via Chicago this year instead. Bit of a pain that it's going to take so much longer to get there but it saved our party of 7 over £1000 compare to Virgin.

Did try and book Delta via Atlanta as it was not going so far out the way but they didn't have enough seats in there lower fares. There is also US airways via Philly but it's a very late arrival, so not so favorable to us with a young child.

We try to avoid the charter airlines as they tend to fly into Sandford so you can't use the magical express.

Just try each of the airlines own websites, netflights or opodo.

Hope you find something :)
