I'm staying at BLT for our anniversary!!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! I'm so excited. I booked tonight. It's our anniversary next month and we never stay over. It's just too hard to justify the cost when we can be home in an hour. But we were out at the Contemporary Sunday and toured both it and BLT. Both were just so beautiful.

Well I spent like two hours looking at different weekends, availability and pricing today and thanks to the lovely AP discounts, I was able to book a sweet 1-bedroom villa at BLT with Bay Lake View for Saturday, September 19th.

I cannot tell you how excited I am. It's just so luxurious to have a full villa for the two of us to enjoy and to have the whole weekend.

That is so wonderful. Congratulations on getting in there and for staying over on your anniversary. I hear what you are saying but think an overnight stay is totally in order for such an occasion. You will have a blast.

I bet you're going to love BLT. We just stayed there - checked in on 8/4. You obviously can't beat the location.

If you get a chance, be sure to check out Wishes from the Top Of The World - you can view them from the lounge or from the observation deck. In order to get there, you will need to check in at the DVC desk in the lobby to prove you are staying at BLT. The person at the desk will then escort you to the elevator.

I thought to go to the top of the world you had to be staying there on points? is that not so, b/c i'd love to visit the top of the world when i stay at blt

Congratulations!! Your going to love Baylake Tower. We just returned from an 8 day stay (check in 8/5) in a 2 bedroom Villa. The place is amazing. We spent so much time at the resort this year we couldn't believe it, but we were just amazed with everything. Everything from the artwork in the room to the pool area. The cast at the pool area are really fun people. We are already planning our next visit to the Baylake Tower. Enjoy your trip :)

So get this. I remembered last night that we had received a pin code in the mail a few months ago. It was still sitting on my desk - that goodness I never get around to throwing things away!! - so I called tonight to see if I could apply it to my stay. Sure enough, my room price went down by $60!!! The deal we got for a 1-bedroom villa at BLT is like the price you'd pay for a standard Wilderness Lodge room. It's AMAZING and just made it even more special!! :D:D
