We are able to do everything we want to do in 3 1/2 days, but my kids are little and we go during some of the slowest times in January.

I would definitely recommend the park hopper. Disneyland is the park we go to most often, only hitting Disney World every few years. The parks are SO close together that hopping is no big deal. We have hopped between the parks multiple times in a single day. We almost consider DCA and DL one...

We usually wear some type of khaki short, t-shirts and tennis shoes. Sometimes my hubby does a polo. I was shocked when we went to Disneyland in January how many people were in sweats or yoga pants. Not really my idea of appropriate attire for public outings.

I was looking at $3000 from Salt Lake City to Orlando too. I just found the Low Fare Calendar for Frontier Airlines. I looked for Portland to Orlando on this and you can get some dates this summer for around $1750 total. This may not exactly be "cheap airfare" but it's certainly better than $3000!

The color coded book ring of snacking heaven is actually printed 4 to a page so the actual size is only 4 1/4"x5 1/2".(Or 1/4 of a standard sheet of paper) So it easily fits in my purse.:)

I've done Disney in my the first trimester with my first and the third trimester with my third. Drink LOTS and put your feet up every time you sit down. All that extra walking made my feet swell even early on. If you get tired, don't be afraid to head back to the resort for a solo nap. And milk...

We always take our big comfy stroller for our kids. I like having the best in park nap options for our kiddos and the buses are a bit of a pain, but it hasn't been impossible.
