Y'all have me so pumped to eat here. How long do you usually take from sit down to waddle away?

Totally up to you. As its a buffet you can easily start eating minutes after being seated (depends on how long for your waitstaff to get your drink order), and still be eating a few hours later. I'd say at least 45 mins just to make the multiple trips to try a little of everything. Our last trip I think ended up being 1 1/2 - 2 hours. But then again we tried everything, then went back for extras of what we liked. And I mean everything. Each. My DW and I don't always share our food nicely.....

I usually get smaller portions, but get some of everything, just so i can try it. Then i go back for more of what ever was my favorites. I used this strategy often at buffets now that I think about it (Crystal Palace, Tusker House). But it is especially good to do at Bomas due to the variety.

The deserts are numerous as well, but most are served in bit size portions, like the Zebra Domes.

LOL! Reminds me of the Friends episode. Joey doesn't share food. :)

I think we will stay there for a while and graze like the savanna animals outside.

My kids were 2 and 4 the last time we did dinner there. They seemed to enjoy it and my younger one was a big fan of these meatballs they had...called them "alicious."

I really liked Boma, and I'm going back there in June. The rotisserie chicken was delicious as well as the african inspired dishes, I think I was the only one to try the bobotie (I also had it for breakfast at the Mara the next day) and I liked it.
