Race Through New York is good, actually

good point and also that not everything can be top thrill attractions. My grandson's favorite rides are one where he can take me and spin the heck out of me! Teacups at MK, storm force at Universal. Kid is also a thrill seeker but sometimes doing something just for the joy of doing it is enough...

6 Night Trip Review at Aventura

Agree prefer CB to Aventura-although prefer Sapphire Falls of the 3. CB has the food I think OP was expecting at Aventura. And pool is better. When I stayed at Aventura I walked over to CB or SF for food...SF Amatista has a pretty good breakfast buffet (and AP discount)

Surprise! Red Tier Now Begins Sunday; Downtown Disney Restaurants???

Vs investing in a good high grade whole restaurant HEPA filter, improving ventilation etc-which HAS shown to reduce transmission. But hey-it isn't as visible as the "safety theater" of tents, temp checks and masks now is it?? "follow the science"-except when inconvenient or interpretation of the...

    Universal Capacity

And just what rule or law would your beloved "strike team" charge them with violating?? Just because YOU don't like it doesn't mean they are breaking actual laws... And when the state RELIES on tax revenue from these place just what would you do when the MONEY runs out to run programs that...

Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure - Virtual Line?

Also do the "refresh" with virtual line at 2pm and 4 pm and have everyone in your party do that on the Universal app. We've had success doing that and picking up spots late in the day. Depending on crowds it may start as VQ and go to standby or vice versa as well. I hopped in a 75 minute standby...

Universal Studios: ‘Bourne Stuntacular’ to open in spring of 2020

Having seen this multiple times now-it is still pretty impressive. At least it is NEW vs the tired old Indiana Jones show (and I truly enjoy that show as well-but OMG it is OLD). Wish the outside blended better with the Rodeo Drive aesthetic though. That street is one of my favorite at night...

    What Preshows are operating?

Forbidden Journey also has the shows going as you walk the castle but with lines so quick no one is stopping to listen to Dumbledore or Harry, Hermione and Ron. Gringotts has NO pre shows going and it really takes away from the story. Hagrids also just has Fang sniffing around (no idea why that...

News Disney's Magical Express to end after 2021

Well I can buy an AP that has express for several hours built in, free prime/valet (when available) parking, free ticket to one of their hard ticket events, early entry (hour) built in, and better discounts. All allowing me to stay offsite much much less expensively without losing a perk- or...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Express is only offered to certain hotels, with ability to buy it. UO also has the AP with Express built in. If the only way to get FP at Disney was to stay in a supremely overpriced hotel, pay several hundred a day per person or even more outrageous prices for an AP with limited ability to make...

Trip Report 2 Broke Guys & A Dog get Ft Wilderness Cabin Fever (but not COVID-19!)

Sounds like a nice break for you guys! We stayed in the cabins in June 2018, rented a golf cart. Almost disappointed you didn't have time to rent one-with your sense of direction and entertaining writing style...well then maybe I wouldn't have been the only one to go on a "walking path only"...

    AP Refund Watch

We actually can’t remember how we paid for hubs AP in January but we think part of it was either a gift card or Disney points on the chase card as we checked the charge and and only $600 something, and I know we did use a park hopper and do upgrade. However he got a refund back this week for...

Politics Disneyland Closure: Another six months?

Yes we mustn't let things like-decreasing deaths/IFR, decreasing hospitalizations, excessive deaths BELOW average since end of august - stand in the way of opening things up! Absolutely we should keep EVERYTHING closed because "safety first" boys and girls!! Mustn't update thinking as more is...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

The super sensitive test (PCR) picking up remnants of the virus while no longer infectious is also why CDC switched to symptom based release from quarantine rather than relying on negative tests. There is one employee at one of the nursing Homes I work with going on week FOUR with positive test...
