Interesting New Rumor on Space Mountain

To fully comply, I think your head and upper body are required to be in the car/seat behind the car in which your lower body & legs are riding. (This is regulated closely by OSHA and some of the other brightest minds in our government.)

Interesting New Rumor on Space Mountain

I have ridden SM with my hands up, and my hands/fingers have hit pads overhead. I'm not sure if these are pads on tracks overhead or what. I no longer ride with my hands held up very high because I started worrying my fingers would get snagged on something, and I'd end up short a digit or...

Interesting New Rumor on Space Mountain

I think the moderators need to step in when you start calling people fuddy-duddies. It's very, very hurtful....:animwink: And honestly, if we have to get rumours in the form of haikus, it's still worth it. Good info is still good info in any format.:)

Interesting New Rumor on Space Mountain

Thank you for not posting a rumour haiku. Personally, I think a promise not to post anything in the form of a haiku should be part of the WDW Magic Terms Of Service.

    New Rumor

    I always hated haikus.

    New Rumor

I think Lost refers to the amount of money customers are going to lose on the new 2008 dining plan. I think High rising refers to Disney's planned profits from the changes to the 2008 dining plan.

    Disney Dining Experience Changes

In the past, I've tried to go to WDW every year. Every time we think vacations, we think WDW; however, I believe it's time to put Disney vacations on par with going to the beaches, mountains, etc. I'll probably go to Disney every 3 years, but it's not going to be a yearly pilgrimage any longer...

    Disney Dining Experience Changes

    1) I wrote an e-mail a few months back regarding the 2008 DDP changes and got a very nice phone call from WDW. 2) I now see that the phone call was just a patronizing move by WDW (as the very nice Disney Rep listened so sweetly and understood everything I said) but the only thing that has...

What is the deal with HISTA?

Honey I Shrunk The Kids was a wonderful movie... in the 80's! Sadly, my kids know who Rocky Balboa is, but not Rick Moranis. It's just been too long.

    Stroppy CM at Blizzard Beach!

Stroppy...what a great word. I'm going to start using it with my Texas accent. Back on topic...did you let the stroppy CM put you in a stroppy mood, or did you carry-on in a non-stropulous fashion?

    A Magical Act of Kindness!

It was great to read about this random act of kindness. You can tell how an act of kindness like this touches many people as evidenced by the way the Manager & Server were excited to give you the news. I wonder how many people this nice act will ultimately touch?

Please don't puke in the sink!

No! Not Scraps!!! :ROFLOL: After the discovery of minty fresh kitty litter being a great vomit absorption product, how long do you think they took to come up with the name...Voban. This stuff really makes vomit banish...let's call it voban.

    Spaceship Earth Re-opening WDWMagic Meet

I had to go back and re-read. The Kitten Crisis post was greatness.:sohappy: (I particularly like the "crawl" at the bottom of the CNN screen.)

Bomb/Drug Sniffing Dog in Magic Kingdom 10/02

Taking precaution in the case of an abandoned backpack is fine; however, I've heard of people being confronted because they were taking pictures of "odd things" at WDW (for example, taking pictures of the boats that go between EPCOT & DHS). My concern is that we're giving up personal freedoms...

Bomb/Drug Sniffing Dog in Magic Kingdom 10/02

I'm afraid we use 9/11 as a mantra for trading freedom & liberty for security. I don't agree with trading away freedoms...even for security. It's too slippery of a slope.

    New refurbs (Snow/Splash)

There are posts in this thread about needing to expect more refurbs in the off-season (after all tickets are much cheaper). I don't buy into this philosophy. The reason it is cheaper is to ENCOURAGE people to come during this time (kind of like having a sale when things are slow). The...

    Big thunder mountain railroad

I'm not going to complain because the last time I went to Wally World the whole park was closed. Thank goodness WDW doesn't do that. Clark G.

    New country pavilion at Epcot?

I would love to see Israel. Sadly, I don't think it will happen because of security risks. However, it would be great to have a replica of the old city and temple mount as it currently stands (w/wailing wall & dome on the rock).

    Jungle Cruise Gun Shots?

I wish the skippers would shoot some of the pesky birds that are always trying to steal my food.;)
