I have to imagine it’s the rumored aliens film conversion to the stitch space. It will probably slightly soften the blow for those upset about losing tsi and the boat.

I’m sure the expense of operating it on a daily basis is much more compared to docking it and just utilizing it as a restaurant. It will probably be more profitable compared to its current use.

I mean could they dock it on land and create like a haunted boat next to the entry way of villains land? I’m just thinking of ways that the boat could be preserved and it seems like there are path ways to at the very least preserving the boat in some type of function.

I was thinking they could really use a Disney lane submarine ride about ocean exploration. It would do really well at animal kingdom.

The dinosaur ride was good, everything else was honestly meh from a lot of a different aspects. The county fair festival being the worst thing imagineering has ever put out.

My best guess is that they need content for next year show. Seems like the new lands will take up the bulk of the next 5 years of major announcement space - so I wouldn’t be surprised if next year is more dedicated to ride placements like stitch.

I wonder if they can somehow dock the boat in frontier lane and utilize it as a premium restaurant space? It would allow Disney to continue to generate revenue instead of figuring out how to dismantle and move the entire boat.

This will be grizzly peak surrounding frontier land and creating a natural gateway to villains land thru the use of the forest. It honestly could work extremely well if the budget allows the imagineers to do what they ultimately envision.

Star Wars land is gorgeous as well though. Disney absolutely has the talent and resources to still make beautiful lands.
