    Digital Cameras

I have the Kodak EasyShare C340 with printer dock and so far I like it alot. I am also photo challenged and this camera really does work well without to much effort. Also cool to make a hard copy right from the camera.Pics come out looking just like 35mm.With glossy finish. Also not to expensive...

Fear of heights at Wilderness Lodge???

The last time we were there when we exited the elevator there were only two windows one at each end of a hallway.Did not see much out of them either. All of the rest of the walk to our room(and it was a long walk haha) was inside corridors. You should be able to get to many rooms without looking...

Good Ideas for families first trip

One thing my 7yr old(girl) loves is the penny stamping machines.Disney has little coin albums you can get and the machines are all around the parks and resort hotels. That's one small thing.:D Just bring along some shiny pennies. rich

Mini-Golf: on property vs off property

 No joke.I can easily have to pick up on many holes. I have to say that if anyone hasn't played the Fairways course yet and is an avid golfer you are missing out. It's a riot trying to guess the breaks correctly. One tip from me would be to play it in the a.m. when you can see all the...

    switching hotels during your stay

I think since you're staying for 14 days switching a couple times won't be bad at all.Kinda get 3 vacations in one that way. If you were just staying a week or less maybe moving twice would be a bit much. rich

    Best experience with wait/crowd times

We were there the 3rd week of Jan.'85ish once when it was about 20 degrees outside. Perfectly clear sunny day with MK almost to ourselves. BTMRR in the 20's,now that's a rush.:D We're from here so it was a little strange spending most of our trip trying to get inside to WARM up. rich

Beware: Bus driver's ....stories of getting lost on busses in WDW

Walt I struck up a conversation with a driver one midday on an empty bus. Being a driver myself I was interested also. It has been a couple years since he told me between $10-10.50hr.I was driving in Fl at the time so I don't think that was to far off. Not enough imho.Hope there are good...

    Port Orleans R or FQ?

It's not like just across a street, but a pleasent walk along the river. Myself I've never minded sitting down for a few extra minutes.Maybe I've just been lucky but the trips through any of the resort areas haven't bothered me. You can always ask or scout out where the first and last pickups...

Beware: Bus driver's ....stories of getting lost on busses in WDW

I seem to have noticed a trend in this lately also. Being a U.S. commercial vehicle driver for most of my adult life I can agree with you.I guess we shouldn't judge but I would like to have my driver speaking clearly the language of where he is driving. Now I have never had any driver I felt...

Cmatt you'll get your lightning and tornadoes in the feeder bands on the edges of the main storm. Pretty much just wind and rain and more rain closest to the center. Probably wouldn't be much fun at a park with a strong tropical storm though. I know your used to wind, but I can't help but think...

What do use to tote things around the world?

A stroller saves us from carrying tired kids quite often. Then when they're walking it carries the backpack. An umbrella stroller costs next to nothing and folds up pretty well. Worth the small extra effort to me. rich

    Dinosaur

My then 6yr old rode willingly, but afterwards came out saying I AM NEVER GOING ON THAT AGAIN. I had her sitting here with me just now and she said her legs were shaking some back then. We always let her know that the rides are safe and not real life just realistic. Even so it scared her at the...

    your most memorable disney memory

Way back when '84 or so my wife and I made our first trip to EPCOT.This of course was before the all knowing internet and most of the tech goodies we don't think about anymore. Just seeing SSE for the first time.WOW! But in all our 40+ trips the one absolute thing I think of most is when the SSE...

    All-Star Movies questions...

We were just in bldg 7 end of July. Ice on each floor but soda machine was on 1st floor and candy/snacks were on 2nd where we were.At $2.50 a shot for vending soda I suggest getting a 2liter from the general store. I've never had any issues with bus travel from all-stars.Sure you might have to...

Don't like that last forcast turn. Guess I'll quit my house fix-up chores for a few days just in case I'm wasting my time.:brick: Can't keep all the names straight but when the one cat3 was heading right over us I decided to make the drive from Tampa area over to Disney.Had 2 elderly relatives...

    Your last day

Kids always hit the pool early a.m.Then we load up and head downtown to pick up some goodies. We have a semi-short ride home so we try to get out by 6pm or so. On a note if you do golf don't miss the fairway course at Fantasia Gardens. rich

    If you could upgrade ??

With your 4yr old maybe Y&BC with the awesome pool area could be a deciding factor. Poly right there for reasons stated before. Won't be dissapointed with POR either. Have fun. rich
