New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Out of interest, when is Spring Break at Disney? As a first time visitor from the UK, I'm hoping to visit late March-early April next year and after following this project for two years now, I'm seriously hoping this is open. Are my chances realistically looking good? :P

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

The D23 in-park gathering could simply be an exclusive VIP showing of ROL. There's nothing to suggest the show will not have opened beforehand. At least, that's what I'm hoping. :)

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

The thing I find most torturous is seeing a plethora of Instagram pictures of the amphitheater with the two shaman boats moored up. One day soon, I'm hoping to hear that a soft preview show has been spontaneously performed. :P

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

I knew the wording was familiar. :P So as predicted, it was just a false alarm with an old web page accidentally going live with outdated information.

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

I'm pretty sure the May 1st date with regards to the dining packages was referencing May of this year. If I recall correctly that web page was live prior to the original delay in April of this year and most likely was made live today either as a test or by accident. The contents of the web page...

    Advice for 2017 visit

Thanks for the advice so far peeps. I'm almost certainly going to pursue the Oct/Nov trip, as I'm sure it will be magical for my parents. Is there anything in particular I should be wary of in regards to cost-cutting while planning this trip. Also, how busy does late March/early April tend to...

    Advice for 2017 visit

I am currently planning a trip for my retired parents and myself to Orlando/WDW in October/November 2017 as it's always been their lifetime wish to visit. However, I've heard so much doom and gloom lately about the state of the parks, various cost cutting measures and lacking guest experience...

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

I'm hearing through Twitter that a few of the floats (namely the Owl and Tiger ones) are currently in situ on Discovery River, so maybe testing has once again begun (can't guarantee that this information is correct, anyone else heard anything or at the park today?). Hopefully the problems are...

    Magic Kingdom/WDW's 50th Anniversary

It definitely seemed like the perfect opportunity to test some new effects and firing patterns. Some nice shells and low level mines in that display.

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Relatively new here but thought I'd post this. The choreographer, Ulka Mohanty, hired for Rivers of Light has recently posted a picture on Instagram of a promotional poster for the show, including our first look at a logo. Again, notice the emphasis on the lotus flower.
