Which ride needs to be "rehabbed"???

I'd heard rumors a long time ago that there was going to be four different films that would show in Star Tours. One for the Death Star, one for Hoth, one for Endor, and another for Tattooine. That would be great! Never know which ride you'd get.;) However, I really, really hope and pray...

    weirdest disney world experience?

My strangest WDW experience: While working back in '97, Tom Hanks and Ron Howard came down to the MGM studios to start construction on sets for the mini-series, "From Earth To the Moon." Anyway, I knew it was being shot, went through the backlot tour where we got to see the Apollo capsules...

    Ghost Stories????

Heh heh heh. We used to freak out the folks at Haunted Mansion by talking about the really cool special effect when a ghost would fly through our doom buggie. Not the mirror effect, but something flying through the car. Anyway, there are some 'real' ghost stories collected on...

Busiest and quietest times of year

When I started working there in January 1997, it was absolutely dead. My roommate at Vista Way and I got a day off and ran through Epcot in a day, riding everything there. We literally were walking onto rides, instead of waiting in line. A good time to go. It's not too hot, You're not...

Behind the scenes at Magic Kingdom?

Oh, god yes. That smell. THAT SMELL! I remember that smell. It haunts my dreams. There is nothing that can explain it, nothing that can prepare you for it. It's beyond evil. Frankly, the Utilidors are not that interesting. I spent most of my time in there moving as quickly as possible to...

    Who will replace Aerosmith?

Rock bands for Rockin' Roller Coaster? Rob Zombie! He's the greatest showman working in rock and roll right now, and to hear 'Living Dead Girl' while going through a loop with wind whipping through your hair would be (Comic book guy voice) Best Roller Coaster Ever!

Who should represent the 20th century as a third host in the Am. Adventure?

Ronald Reagan! Okay, but seriously folks...Einstein would be a great choice. He represented the march of science, and the many people from all across the world that make this country great.

Cop - Crowds Higher Than Ever!

Hey, that's good to hear that the show is doing so well! I always loved this one, ever since I was a little kid...great place to relax after coming off storming Space Mountain. Air-conditioned, good music, and pretty funny to boot! My only problem is that they jump so heavily from the 40s until...

    Best Use of Animatronics

It's been a while, but my personal favorite animatronic is the dude in Innoventions, who tells jokes and sings. Can't remember his name, unfortunately.:( "Feelin' alright uh huh Not feelin' too good myself Oh no!"

    PhilharMAGIC/Treasure Planet/Lilo & Stitch

Gah, enough with the cheapquels! Eisner is tapdancing on everything that made Disney great. Walt himself refused to do sequels, feeling they were exploiting great stories. Anyway, on to my rant: I like Disney films. Always have, probably always will. No one else out there has raised the...

    The Nightmare Before Christmas?

I know Disneyland had refurbished The Haunted Mansion to reflect "A Nightmare before Christmas" last Halloween, but does anyone know if WDW is planning on doing the same thing? I think it'd be interesting. Some folks say that they should never change the rides, but I like new ideas and such.

The Great Movie Ride´s shutting down!?!

The Great Movie Ride Personally, I think it would be a good thing to refurbish the Great Movie Ride. This, unlike any other ride at Disney, is ripe for re-invention. There are literally thousands of great films that could be hooked into this to replace or enhance the current ride. For...

    Journey into Your Imagination

 Journey to Imagination was great cornball. I used to love to ride that sucker, and then walk out humming that goofy song. C'mon, I even got to pet Figment when Dreamfinder was outside! :drevil:
