Thanks, fmingo36! I will be renting a car, so transportation won't be as much of a problem. Is it necessary to rent a golf cart since I will have a car? Any other tips I should know?

My two big-time misses are the old Spaceship Earth (not a fan of the current version of it) and Alfredo's in Italy. Miss that fettuchini alfredo.

I use a Baggallini cross-body bag. I love traveling hands-free, and it's perfect for the park. I wouldn't use anything else.

My plans are the same as they have been for the last 5+ years. Get to Epcot at opening, stay until dinner (we always make an ADR for dinner somewhere in Epcot, this year it's at the Coral Reef), then head back to our BW-view room at BWV and watch the fireworks from the balcony. Can't wait!

I'm really disappointed that there will be no Mixer the last week of December. I travel 12/26-1/1, and there's nothing scheduled that week. I've been to the Mixer in years past, and I enjoy it. Very disappointing.

devoy1701 is right, drinks run in the $5.50-$8.50 range, and are standard bar fare. My favorite is the Blue Hawaiian, it's on the drink special menu which rotates. And, one minor correction, the pianomen begin at 8PM; doors open at 7PM. Go, have fun, and enjoy!

Just wanted to bump this up! It might be early, but has anyone heard anything about the Mixer? It's something I look forward to every year.
