I think I'm gonna call shenanigans on the kid that said his grand dad wrote the opening speech for Disneyland. Or, is that Marty's grandkid?
Oh... and Super Nintendo World may be great and all... but can it compete with DisneyQuest?
(Mario was only 17 years old when DisneyQuest opened. When...
I'm not sure about school/tour groups, but convention guests usually have a higher rate than leisure or transient overnight stays. It may be different at Disney resorts, but at least that's the way it is at Gaylord Hotels (such as the Palms in Orlando) that has about 80% group / 20% leisure...
It's interesting that the paper doesn't refer to Sleeping Beauty Castle as it's given name. I'm guessing they'll rename it to something similar to what Shanghai did.
I don't like being negative, but I'll be the first to say it... I'm betting this is the only full-size animatronic we're getting.
I would love to be wrong...
And, don't forget "If you had wings..." wasn't even an A Ticket. It was free.

Disney also released several Discovery Channel specials - all. about. the. yeti - they were the ones espousing on how grand and fabulous it is. Some of the blame needs to be laid at their feet.
A little bit off topic, but I can't find anywhere else to post. And, since this is sort of a catch-all article, I thought I'd add it here...
Has anyone seen this new proposal (?) for a project called the Disney Ride Archive (RideArchive.com)? It looks like it's a crowd-funded proposal or maybe...
From the way I understand it, they've just swapped out the articulated head. For example, the current Audio-Animatronic President Bill Clinton and President George W. Bush no longer have the functionality to talk and move like they did when they were originally added. I don't believe the current...
I'm pretty sure that Walt Disney World's Main Street Electrical Parade was shipped to Disneyland Paris in the early 1990s. It ran there for a while before the park replaced it with Tokyo Disneyland's Fantillusion.
