    'Turning Red' Coming Spring 2022

Very happy to see Turning Red getting honored with a nomination, with a preemptive congratulations for Guillermo del Toro and the animation crew behind Pinocchio for (presumably) winning. That film should be up for Best Picture, but that's Hollywood's disrespect for animation for you. Further...

Wish (Walt Disney Animation - November 2023)

I'm not sure how to link from Podcasts on iTunes, but it is on the Jim Hill Podcast Network, dated January 2nd, 2023. It should be free if you have the iTunes podcast app.

Wish (Walt Disney Animation - November 2023)

According to The Wrap's Drew Taylor during an interview on the Jim Hill podcast, the film is apparently quite good. He spoke about it at length in an episode titled, "Which animated features to watch for in 2023". The Wish discussion starts around the 25 minute mark.

    Predictions for Disney in 2023

This is probably the most likely to happen of what you mentioned, apart from the Animal Kingdom Flotillas. Not a chance for most of this. I get that The Owl House has a lot of devoted fans, but Disney is clearly ready to move on from it. A fifth gate is very unlikely for now. If Epic Universe...

    Predictions for Disney in 2023

My hope is that this time Iger finds a successor for his likely next 3-5 years at the company and begins training them in all the facets of the company, building relationships with talent, and getting the operations side of the business under their belt.

    Muppets Haunted Mansion

Good for Dave Goelz and the creative team. It's always fun to see Gonzo get his due and the Muppets given the spotlight.

Disney's Next Acquisition Speculation / Discussion

Disney needs to clear up some of the debt from COVID and the Fox deal before they start throwing out several billion dollars for other companies. The most I can see, as I've reiterated ad nauseam, are purchases of the Spider-Man film rights and Paramount's half of Titanic and the first four...

So, who do you think, overall, has been the best CEO of the WDC ???

Roy Disney was a great CEO who helped steer the company to success after Walt. He really deserves a lot of credit for getting Walt Disney World off the ground, and the resort is just as much his legacy to the company as it is Walt's. Michael Eisner's first 15 years at the company were some of...

Disney's Next Acquisition Speculation / Discussion

No more Morbin' time? But in all seriousness, that movie is the dullest comic book film since 2005's Elektra movie.

News Chapek FIRED, Iger New CEO

It also doesn't hurt that they're one of the biggest companies in the world.

News Chapek FIRED, Iger New CEO

I think Bakshi was also critical of John K's ineptitude at keeping to deadlines while on Ren and Stimpy, as well as on Mighty Mouse.

    WDW Answer to Hagrid's/VelociCoaster

A Star Wars Speeder Bike ride through Endor or a Tatooine Podracer style coaster similar to Hagrid's in theming and detail would be amazing.

Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

Even if Disney chooses to scale back on other projects because of an upcoming recession, at the very least they must provide Avengers Campus with an E-Ticket. Whether that's a dark ride or a coaster, it would be a very unfortunate thing for them to abandon the E-Ticket idea.
