  • I know! I wish they would bring him here. Heck, I wish Wishes would go away (as much as I love it) and Magical would come.
That is actually a Dumbo puppet that is used in the new fireworks show at DL called Magical. He actually flies around the castle during the show. It's VERY cool, you should go look it up on youtube.
Yes, we've been to Disneyland. Actually, last year was my husband's first trip to Disneyland, and he loved the Haunted Mansion Holidays, which they don't do at WDW. We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, so this time, staying at the Grand Californian will be a new experience for us. People who have stayed there raved about it, so I'm really excited.
    Have a great weekend!
Thanks. It's okay though. We look back at it and laugh now. I could never live it down though so that makes me doubly glad it's gone now XD
Thanks. Our trips to WDW are really to make as much use as we can with our annual passes, plus the August trip was a kind of last minute thing, saw the offer of 35% off for club level rooms and couldn't pass that up. We did have the November WDW trip planned for my DH's birthday. The Disneyland trip was a God sent too because a woman on another forum was organizing a Home Schoolers conference/convention and had to commit to 200 rooms at the Grand Californian. She had been unable to get enough of the conventioneers to book the Disney owned hotel rooms, so she offered them to anyone who wanted them for the fabulous price of $195/night at the Grand Californian, which normally go for a minimum of $350. This was only for the period of Sept 11 to 20, 2009, and since we're just a 5 hour drive away, we couldn't pass that up.

Too bad you can't fit in my suitcase or else I would bring you along with me.
The reason I hate Mr. Toad is this. I was six years old when I first went to Disney World in 1990. My Dad got me on the ride thinking I would like it because he liked it. It ended up scaring the living CRAP out of me. I was screaming the whole time. My sister was on the other track at the time and says she could hear me. When we got out, I was crying like crazy and was actually nervous about other rides. Because of this, Toad was never my favorite ride and I was not crying when I heard they were tearing it down. My signature is a mix of this and the fact that everyone here seems to love this ride and mindlessly despise the Pooh ride simply because it replaced it. (I for one think the Pooh ride is WAY better and not just because I'm biased) SO everyone's mindless love for Toad made me want to put that in my signature just to see if anyone would respond XD
Yeah...its getting to that point where concentrating on anything but the trip is getting harder and harder, including anything original for the Word Association Thread

Faxing my request today for a Samoa room, after doing on-line check-in yesterday...gotta get an oil change and all for the Yukon...get new Keen's for the oldest...so much to do, SO MUCH TO DO!!! :ROFLOL:
Hello my friend!! YES! we will be there in 4 days and counting!! I can't wait! So excited! Yes - I will take loads of pics and post the trip report for sure! Thanks for the well wishes!!! Thanks again!!!! :)
I love love love the pool at the BC! It is so nice!! Lovely! I got a tube and just floated - around and around and the sand bottom is incredible!! Oh! I hope it all works out for her!!!
Yes - it so is! It's hard to put it all together for the Fantasmic dinner package. Can't pic a TS that I want - and what time to get to the show - and then I miss EMH's somewhere else. I would rather take advantage of the EMH's at DHS - but wish they would have at least one show the night of EMH. How is the rest of your mom's planning going? Has she decided the resort she wants yet?
