Oh boy that looks absolutely terrible. They've got to do something about that backdrop. Not that I expect them to, they've been pretty clear recently that they aren't concerned with how things look for anything that's not right in your face.

It's unfortunate because everything in the foreground looks good (other than the little bit of that badly designed/out of place blue building), but my eye was drawn straight to the obviously fake backdrop. That's the opposite of what they want. Hopefully it won't be a big issue on the ground when you're actually in that area, though.

On the ground you’ll just have things like the floating door and the crêperie.

That's what you get when you keep trying to hide attractions inside a building.
You mean buildings like these?

I don't think you can judge until you see it in person. The perspectiven s going to be different than from a photograph and with the foreground, it may just blend into the background.
A photograph shows there’s no shadows or depth though. Especially when lit like that post noon, you’d expect there to be shadows cast by the bulk and detail.

See those work. The ones that don't are Ratatouille and the new Guardians ride. Painting a building to make it blend in looks awful.
The blue building to which you replied isn’t Ratatouille and looks a lot better out front.

are they completely done painting the flat? It looks way too light/white and unfinished. If they just added some more color and darker shades it may look better and help add depth.
The lightness is supposed to make it look further away.
