Do you know where they are staying, we need to avoid that place.Right now, people in Miami are making plans to go to Orlando next weekend.

To be fair you can find any opinion on twitter and reddit. This is a Disney site, but if you look at twitter and reddit, the calls for universal closing are there.
I know but they said no one was being loud about universal being open so I pointed out that this is a Disney site.To be fair you can find any opinion on twitter and reddit.
There's' so much going on in the world and the news cycle changes so rapidly I doubt any outbreak at WDW is going to get more than a blip on the national news. Disney is also not a company the media goes after. The T-Rex, Landry's story is interesting as in wasn't covered by any national news or any news for that matter that I could find other than social media posts and Disney blogs reporting on the social media post. You think if there was a story and coverup at least one valid news source would pick it up. Might have missed it though, haven't seen all the news sources. Makes me wonder of the veracity of it.
I agree on national, but the local news would have picked it up for sure. There's' so much going on in the world and the news cycle changes so rapidly I doubt any outbreak at WDW is going to get more than a blip on the national news. Disney is also not a company the media goes after.
All it takes is a handful of CM’s to feel unsafe, and it will be spun on this site as “CM’s feel unsafe” .Everyone is bent on drawing their own conclusions. Nobody has budged even an inch. I would say that no news is good news. I don't sense that Universal would or even could conceal a covid problem. Disruptions in the park would be apparent. Your anecdote is that TM'S feel unsafe. Others have said the opposite. Around and around we go. My point being that a strong lack of evidence that one of the biggest theme parks is experiencing transmission is good.
Disagree. Here in PA whenever a cast member sneezes it seems to make the news. Don’t know about other parts of the country but it seems weekly there’s a report about Disney. There's' so much going on in the world and the news cycle changes so rapidly I doubt any outbreak at WDW is going to get more than a blip on the national news. Maybe your local newscasters have a Disney obsession.Disagree. Here in PA whenever a cast member sneezes it seems to make the news. Don’t know about other parts of the country but it seems weekly there’s a report about Disney.
Disney World is massively popular in the Northeast. Some of the biggest states for park attendance are NJ/NY/PA. You can’t drive down the road without seeing either an AP or DVC mickey eats sticker on someone’s car. I’m sure the same cannot be said for a lot of places, especially the further you get from FL. There is definitely some local bias.Maybe your local newscasters have a Disney obsession.
Disney news is news to many newscasters nationally and worldwide with probably the exception of countries to visit and one may not return safely.Maybe your local newscasters have a Disney obsession.
They would pull reopening on Friday if they felt they had to.
Just posted this in the other thread in case some don’t venture over. Texas medical Association put this chart out.

That was just asked in a other thread. He was wondering if they would cancel each other out....but what if the bar is in an amusement park?
I never watch local news so I couldn’t tell you, but WDW is not that popular here. My husband has CNBC on during the market hours....and the national news is covering other things.Disney World is massively popular in the Northeast. Oh yeah, the media hardly covered the child killed by an alligator...Disney is also not a company the media goes after.
That's a nice graphic. I wonder if the level "8" for an amusement park is factoring in the required face coverings, social distancing and hopefully other measures that Disney will be taking, perhaps making it a little less risky. I realize though that there is an inherent risk when ever there are larger than normal crowds.Just posted this in the other thread in case some don’t venture over.
