I'm curious what kind of positions they mean by "operational areas". Is this content creation people, broadcast support staff, janitors? Anyone know more?

Yeah, operation is pretty vague. I assume most of the fall shows are in the can and should be gearing up for the mid season shows. Holiday specials etc this should be a busier time?

Yeah I was wondering about the ESPN omission as well. I would have thought that since ESPN seems to be the one that is struggling the most that it would be the one to get the cuts, but maybe that's exactly why they left it alone.
