As much as folks complain about WDI's creative soulessness, hi Joe!, their profond failure to build quality projects on a reasonable budget is the biggest problem they face.

Disney is beyond concern with risk. Themed entertainment is viewed as a marketing medium, and therefore projects that do not market are pointless.

What can Bob and Disney do to take the sting off of ESPN having it's problem? I surprised they don't have their own streaming service that shows all of their classic movies, ABC, sports and news that you can pay $$ each month like Netflexx.

Disneys fundamental problem is they are CHEAP they are unwilling to invest long term. They should have bought Netflix ages ago because Disney has a vast back catalog which is going un monetized instead they market the hot items but don't do strategic investing in the next generation of products.

Heck I was afraid ATT was going to ruin direct TV. No they brought direct tv's portfolio to every mobile device on the planet. Along with upgrading the satellite platform.
