Yeah but people are missing the big problem. Who in Disney Marketing thought that was an Oscar worthy preview of a new land? It was horrible. I was shocked at how badly it was put together. And the AA is kind weird with those shark like teeth up close.

All of the video ads for Pandora have been very weak. It's almost as if they raided the marketing budget and were left with a part time intern, and not the good one who's busy with other stuff.

Or just name the category "The Disney/Pixar Film Oscar". And be pleasantly surprised if another studio wins.

I liked both films. The demise of Disney characters in one of the first scenes in Shrek I'm sure was Jeffrey's "salute" to Eisner. Even my mom got it.

"It's like dreaming with your eyes open". How on earth do they squander that? The entire campaign should be built on that.

Well when your only tool is a hammer (price increase) every problem looks like a nail.

Meh, To me all Shrek was is just Jeffrey Katzenburg's elaborate middle finger to Disney and started the Dreamworks Tradition of dated pop culture references and fart and sex jokes.

I get that they want to keep some things a surprise, but just showing banshees on the screen doesn't make me want to go. Seeing people ride the attraction (banshee or boat) would help people understand what Disney is adding to the park.
