Are you referring to the lovely fashion similar to these? :D

The one shirt looks like a Twister board! I love the stirrup pants too, I remember having a couple pairs.

Pop came through the operation fine.
The Doc came to see us about 30 mins. ago and gave two thumbs up.
We'll be going to see him in about 30 mins.
There is still a 1 percent chance he might have had a stroke (typical odds for any heart surgery for any age) during the procedure, but, won't know for sure 'til he wakes up.

Again, I'd like to express my sincerest, heart-felt thanks to all of you here for all the well-wishes and prayers. It comforted a great deal.
Y'all are the best...!

I'm glad everything went well, hopefully recovery goes well too.

The cones here are different...smaller, so I don't have to bake mine as long, and cake here is different, so I always make mine from scratch as they don't have boxed mixes here. Cake here is more dense and dry and it's done in a loaf pan...more like pound cake than what we think of as birthday cake. I've learned a LOT about baking since I moved here because I either had to do without all my favorites (brownies, cake, cheesecake, cookies, cinnamon rolls, etc) or I had to learn to make them. Here are the ones I did for DD's 6th birthday treats at school.View attachment 112685

We're not allowed to bring treats like these to our daughter's school. :(

Sorry, I guess I didn't get that memo. So everything spends eternity constipated. I was hoping that heaven consisted of an endless buffet line, but, if blockage is involved I'm a little concerned.:in pain:;)

I keep hoping it's like that movie Defending Your Life with Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep. You get to eat whatever you want, everything is delicious, and you don't gain any weight!! :p

I just took this quiz: Which Disney Mom Are You Most Like?

I got: Emily, Andy's Mom! http://www.playbuzz.com/williambaggins10/which-disney-mom-are-you-most-like

Imaginative and extremely hard-working, you are most like Andy's Mom, Emily from "Toy Story"! Your heart swells with the love of your children even as you read this, and even moreso when you realize just how much of yourself you see in them. Whether by strong genetics or a beautiful relationship, you have at least one child that is YOU made over, and for better or worse you consider it a dream come true. You've always cherished youth and encourage creativity and imagination in your family - wouldn't have it any other way!

Oh no I hope it's nothing to worry about! Please be very careful until you know you're ok. I don't want you to get hurt!
I am ok.. I'm definitively not dumb. I go upstairs and downstairs holding the handrail tightly.. and I'm still bad..
I might probably have an infection.. I dunno.

thanks for your concern.

The worse is.. have been trying to make an appointment with my doctor.
but the phone is ALWAYS busy or doesn't connect D:

BTW...
On a shelf in the ICU reception area we found this big basket of random, tiny puzzle pieces. Hundreds and hundreds of tiny pieces. No boxes with pictures for reference. Appears to be about 3 or 4 different puzzles.
So, this is what most of us have been working on for the last several hours...! :)
