What time do you go to sleep?

Besides the EMH at MK till 2am, what is the average time you get back to your resort and sleep. I find that while at Disney I'm only sleeping 4-5 hours a night? Normally that would be fine, but after spending all day walking in the Florida sun, I'm trying to find ways to get everything done earlier.

Before my son it wasn't unusual for us to stay out as late as the EMH would allow. That being said, we would always say we would stay out later and then come home usually around 12ish...now with a 2 and a 1/2 year old it is uncommon for us to be in the room by 830-9 at the latest. But then again, we are up a whole lot earlier than we used to be as well. Sigh.

Yep. 4-5 hours is pretty usual for me at Disney, particularly with the 2am MK EMH and the 8am EMH at DHS the following day. That's even worse and 4 hours would be lucky. That being said, vacation is vacation. I just try to hydrate.

I also usually take a quick break back to the hotel on the 2am EMH days in the afternoon when the sun is at the highest point to either swim or nap and refresh for the long night ahead. That also helps with the next morning too.

We never get more than 5 maybe 6 hours of sleep a night while we are there. We go from opening to close everyday & are too wired to fall right asleep even though our bodies are tired. We always laugh and say we will rest when the "vacation" is over!

We're there from park open to park close. I'd say we normally get about 5 hours a night. That's with two kids (11 and 10 now). We don't force them to, they actually complain when we slow down.

Normally we are as long in the EMH-park as possible, if that means until 2.00 AM we get to the hotel about 20-30 minutes after closing, depends of course on the hotel, you are much faster back at the Poly than at the Pop. If the parks close earlier we normally are in bed around midnight.

Most of us wake at 6:00 am. We have a snooze ya loose mentality. since our kids are grown and we don't have grandchildren yet, you will be left behind. We stay up till 1 or 2am, if not at EMH then in a pool or doing something.

We stay until park closing at every park (sometimes we leave AK an hour or two early) which normally brings us back to our hotel around 11pm then everyone is normally asleep by 1am. Then the next day, up by around 7. So we got on average 6 hours of sleep.

This trip I'm vowing to get everyone's stuff for the next day ready during nap/break time so that I can get an extra hour of sleep. We are usually in bed between 11-12, but sometimes it's 1:30a for me since we'll never make it anywhere in the morning if I don't have outfits and bags ready to go. Of course, I'll probably be wired and end up writing my TR text hoping I can fall asleep. We hit the parks early, so we're also up early...usually by 6am.

Usually we get back from the parks and spend time walking around the resort, taking the time to unwind from the days adventure. Spend time sitting out on a bench and relax, taking in the quietness of our surroundings. Relax and think about the days we have left to enjoy. Bed time falls somewhere between midnight and 1 a.m. I have no problem falling asleep unless there are unruly folks partying above or beside our room and it goes on into the late hours. We get up around 8 a.m. which is a treat because at home I'm always up no later than 6 or 7 a.m.

I don't sleep much at night (5-6 hours), but find that the mid-afternoon nap does wonders. The only time I ever take an afternoon nap is at Disney.

We got from open to close. Like others have said we also get about 6-7 hrs of sleep. Even if I am tired, I snap out of it pretty quickly. Can't be tired and slow you will get left behind!

As an out of season visitor I find I'm back at the room by 9pm most nights and asleep by 11pm. I always sleep till I wake up, which is usually around 8am, so I get a good 8-9 hours a night.

I'm not a morning person and being there out of season I can get away with not being on hand for opening and still se everything I want to.

Unless we stay for fireworks, we are back in our room by 8 or 9pm, look at some tv then sleep. Up by 6, out the door at 8. Clothes are set out the night before to save time in the morning.
