I see what your trying to do there but I don't get the hammer and typewriter references? Is that a ghostwriter on the typewriter?
I love how you guys theres only 1 person complaining with multiple screennames when it fact thats not true.

and Jedimaster what will you say a year from now when no new projects have started construction? Just say "oh well the company changed its mind"? If there was any justice you will admit your full of BS. I also noticed you didnt bother to respond to Spirit 74's well written commentary.

Just out of curiosity what will you say if a year from now there are new projects under construction? Will you admit you were wrong? Or will you just say "oh well the company changed its mind?" Justice goes both ways you know.

Yep, as far back as 2004/2005, they were looking at ways to shutter it. The night life scene changed, Disney didn't, and they had about three years to come up with new plans for PI. But they didn't get anything accomplished, because there's too much red tape for WDW/WDI to work efficiently. Now PI is just a ghost town.
That's all that matters. Someone needs to brush this thread aside with a "Move along; nothing to see here..." :lol:
And why are people still arguing about DVC? Who cares? You can't blame bad business decisions on DVC just because they're repeat Guests. Disneyland's AP base practically swallows the park, and they're used as a reason to consistentally make changes to the resort (some of those changes are bad, too).

Actually, some good will be coming. The improved Space Mt. refurb is a step in the right direction; but the sweeping, dramatic return to classic values won't happen without new executive leadership. Marketing campaigns are not solid business plans for the future. Haven't these people ever taken Business 101? :lol:

I did hope that SOME god would come of this.
I think hoping for a "slight [re]organization" to produce a god is a little excessive. I'm not in the god-producing business, but I think that's beyond the scope of WDW.

And that's really the whole point.
Jay isn't an idiot, no matter how low my opinion of him might be (and you'll need some earthmoving equipment if you'd like to know how low that opinion might be).
He's incredibly savvy. And knows that now is the absolute best time to solidify his base and his agendas because he isn't likely to lose his job now no matter the numbers because everything can be blamed away on the economy, while people will ignore the more underlying issues in the business unit.
It's all about control. And Jay has more now than he did a week ago.
