Seriously, what's with all of the globe hate?

I wouldn't mind seeing the globe in Skydance, if that is indeed the next show. Its a great piece of engineering, or should I say imagineering. ;) I'm still amazed everytime I see the show that someone could think of something like that, let alone build it. Hopefully this refurb (lets hope it actually happening this time) will get all the globe's effects working again, in addition to improving the picture quality.

Don't worry everyone...this one came from Epcot Ops Management, so get out there and see it tonight and tomorrow, cause she's getting some upgrades after Wednesday. :) Though I will agree, with all the delays, I too am skeptical.

What about SSE?

(Did I just say that?)

And ROE has been around for almost 10 years...It's been heavilly rumored that the SkyDance is,indeed, coming.
SSE I do not need to coment on. cough'Descent' cough'
also Fantasy in the Sky was at the Magic Kingdom from 1971 till' 2004. so since ROE is still popular I cannot imagine it being replaced so soon after a refurb and I know they might use it in SkyDance but still.

Yeah, but Fantasy was refurbed several times.

One of the gratest experiences in the world is walking out of Epcot after Reflections of Earth and hearing Tapestry of Nations play. It's very inspirational and moving. I would hate to lose that feeling at Epcot.

Couldn't have said it better myself...I get goose bumps every time I hear it....I don't even mind that it takes a long time to get out with all the crowds...kind of goes with the music.."We Are One"

And they've taken the "Sky Dance" project down a while ago. If it was a project to replace ROE -- I hope it was cancelled.

I think the capital would be better spent on upgrading Fantasmic (to be more like DisneyLand's), or updating SpectroMagic.

I did notice that it's missing from his current projects. But that could just mean that he has turned the project over to WDI.
