The first and last park we do is M.K.
Who also does M.K. first?
If not M.K. which one and why.
Note: Downtown Disney is typically the FIRST thing we do after arriving. The next day though (first full day) is always M.K.:)

Yep. MK has to be first and I try last as well. If not MK last then it has to be Epcot. I could never end with AK or DHS. Nothing against those parks, they just do not have the same status for me.

I know I will probably be in the minority, but I like to start with DAK. The park is a lot more relaxing than the other 3 to me, it helps put me in the vacation mood. I love the animals, I love the tranquility, I just love DAK, it is easily my favorite park. The rides aren't central to my experience there, unlike the other 3 parks.

I'm a wdw day tripper so its not like I have to see everything, but usually its ak first, hit up everest and dinosaur, then over to epcot for spaceship earth, and soarin if the line isnt too long, we dont even bother with test track or ms, waste of spaces to me, then maybe catch the boat and eat a burger at the american pavilion or head over to mgm and do tot and rockin or atleast one of the 2 if lines are too long, and maybe gmr, then off to the magic kingdom at sunset, i loveee the mk at sunset, it gives the park a different feel imo, really gives me a feeling like nothing else on this earth...and we'll just stay there til the park closes, the only thing that sucks are the lines to the busses and monorails, but just stay browsing around mainstreet til the lines die down a bit and you'll barely even notice when you finally do leave

I cant even remember the last time I was in mk in the morning, probably since I was a child, Mk to me has always been better at night, especially because of the parade and fireworks, it allows you to pretty much walk on all the mountains without waiting in line at all....ahh magic kingdom... I gotta go back soon I'm craving a disney trip like a fat man craves white castle

Yeah, I always do MK first and last. Probably b/c it's the first park, it has a wide variety of lands and rides. I like the others but just don't feel like you can re-ride as many things in one night. The different atmospheres from the various areas of MK I would say is the biggest part of making it the main choice.

MK first and last as it is our favorite and staying at the lodge or the other nearby resorts gives a quick last day getaway for airport shuttle....we have to hit it first day and usually stay all day to play.... :sohappy:

I try to make MK my first visit, but usually I go to Epcot the first full day, and do MK at night, and the last day I am there, I always end my vacation watching Wishes and leaving with tears in my eyes

We do DAK the first day, because we arrive the same day and DAK doesn't take that much time. But, our first full day is MK, then DHS, then EPCOT. But we also hop alot because we go in the off season and lines are never long and we have more time in the parks.

I like for MK to be the very last park I go to though. I like to leave with MK fresh on my mind!

It seems like we plan to visit MK first, but always go to Epcot. Not that I'm complaining, it's just funny that it usually works out like that.

MK always last though. Gotta get one last look at the castle.

You're not the only one. We do AK 1st too and for the same reasons. The kids love the animals and we feel like we can take our time. We don't feel rushed to get from 1 thing to the next. Epcot is sort of the same for us, relaxing. We always do AK 1st day, MK 2nd day. We also always do MK on the last.

Will usually always start our trip at MK on some occasions we have not but this year we will for a few hours and then head to Epcot. But we always end our day at MK. Usually leave 2-3 pm.

We do MK first and last too! To me, MK just IS WDW and I love the feeling of getting off the resort bus and seeing the main gate and the train station...

And we always leave on our last night after Wishes, looking back at the castle all lit up.

Although, if we can't watch Wishes on our last night (as happened last year because of MNSSHP), we head over to DHS and catch Fantasmic instead.

Although, on that trip, F! got rained off...It was a pretty depressing last night!!

MK is always first and last. Nothing like starting a trip walking down Main Street and nothing sadder than walking down it the last time.

On a typical 4 day trip to WDW I do...

Day One: DHS
Day Two: MK
Day Three: AK/MK (usually head over around 6ish)
Day Four: Epcot

It's not a trip to The World for me unless the final day is spent in Epcot!

Do first

This past trip we actually got in about 5pm, so we went that night to see Fantasmic at DHS. It is my favourite nighttime show, and since we only planned one day at DHS, we didn't want to miss it if it stormed...

That being said, our first and last full day is ALWAYS MK. Our last day this trip we had 8:15am reservations as Crystal Palace, so we got in the park before it opened at 9, and I highly recommend this. I have a picture of my DD7 standing on Main Street with the castle in the background and she is the only person in the picture. This is the only time you can actually get a picture like that without the back of 1000 people's heads...worth it just for that!!
