And I love Rise, love Tower of Terror, love Muppets and I dislike Star Tours and Runaway Railway.I love Star Tours. I love Tower of Terror. I love Runaway Railroad. I love Muppets. I love all of those attractions despite applying the same “scrutiny” that I bring to Resistance.
I fail to see how it’s a great concept for a ride. It’s a rollercoaster in an industrial warehouse, likely with some door-sized screens. It seems like a vastly inferior ride concept compared to Tokyos Monsters ride.
Your review of Rise is the weirdest 4-star review I’ve read in a long time.Feel free to point out the “falsities.” Or, for that matter the negative “hyperbole” regarding a ride I consider to merit 4 out of 5 stars.
The model that was on display was pretty basic.can someone map out the track layout for me?
I invite you to review which posters have been personally attacking other posters for having their own opinion. And I love Rise, love Tower of Terror, love Muppets and I dislike Star Tours and Runaway Railway.
Everyone is allowed an opinion. The thing is, my mom‘s favorite attraction of all time is Ratatouille. I disagree with her but I don’t slam my disagreement in her face because I want her to enjoy what she enjoys and I don’t want to rain on her parade.
If you were talking to your family on this forum, I have a feeling you’d be wording your posts a bit differently.

Yup we were at HS recently with kids 20, 6, and 3. My thought was next time just hop there for 3 hours to do ToT, TSM, Mickey, and Fantasmic. The Star Wars rides are good but that park is freaking exhausting when every attraction is a Rider Swap. Granted by the time Monsters opens maybe my kids won’t be terrified of Slinky but all big rides isn’t super appealing to us. We like variety.Another coaster with a height requirement rushed to anchor a boutique land of single Disney movie owned IP is the last attraction Disney needs at any of their parks. Particularly DHS.
In tech, true... Resistance is much more complex.
But Transformers is more fun and a MUCH better representation of the IP. Outside of the thrill of the escape pod unlatching, Resistance is more something to be admired then enjoyed, especially repeatedly. It sums up a lot of what's wrong with modern Disney Imagineering- impressive tech (some of which fails where less impressive tech would have achieved the same effect more reliably) but an overall experience that adds up to much less then the sum of its parts because of underwhelming design. What’s going to be the topper? The HP ride? I can’t tell much on it yet from what little I know.I don't know, as someone who has spent his whole life watching Transformers cartoons and reading Transformers comics I would argue the ride is a horrible representation of the IP. A worse version of Spider-Man featuring forgettable music and visuals that are hard to decipher isn't what I want in Transformers.
On Rise I get to be right next to a Mon Calamari animatronic as we ride a shuttle to what feels like a full scale Star Destroyer before we ride through one of the most visually impressive things ever done in themed entertainment. If it was Darth Vader instead of Kylo this would be universally considered the most incredible thing in American theme parks. Until next year, that is.

From what I’ve heard both will be incredible, but I think Monsters Unchained especially will be a strong contender for best ride in the world when it opens. It's looking like both the Harry Potter ride and Monsters could surpass it. I'm trying to keep my expectations lower for Monsters though.
If you want to hear more about the rides and don't mind potential spoilers, Parkstop from Alicia Stella (YouTube or Podcast) has been detailing Epic Universe with nearly 100% accuracy for the past many years.
also odd they said Coco would be a boat ride out there, but would not say the ride type for Encanto here...everything just sort of feels all over the place.FWIW and a bit ironic, Disney hasn't confirmed the closure of the Monster's Inc ride at DCA either. We also don't officially know where the Coco ride is going.
So, Florida's lack of official confirmation isn't unique.
They are going to destroy the Muppets. I don't blame them for holding off on announcing that.Just because they didn’t announce to the public doesn’t mean they don’t know where it’s going.
What do you mean? Its exactly like the movies - big explosions, weird robots and a totally incomprehensible plotTransformers is nothing but a worse Spiderman. Much worse.
You can’t even tell what robot is doing what. Admittedly that’s due to the Michael Bay designs, but since they went with those they have to be included in the opinion.
