As we all know, cruising around the parks can really wear your feet out!! So where is your favorite "rest" spot during your days in the parks????

We don't seem to rest much in the MK, unless we're near the Aloha Isle.....

But in the WS, we love grab a beer in Norway, sit on the benches facing the water and watch Friendship pass back and forth.

Where do you like to take a breather???

Epcot
We like to kick back at Mexico by grabbing a Dos Equis, perhaps a churro

MK
We like to grab lunch at the Plaza or Columbia Harbor House. They are both cool and quiet

EPCOT:
We've rested in Mexico with some nachos by the lake (tried their churro once, I couldn't get through three bites. :() We've also relaxed a bit in Italy while eating gelato! :slurp::slurp:

I don't think we've ever really rested anywhere else in the parks. Our trips are usually: ride, ride, ride, show, eat, ride, ride, ride, etc. I never knew people could actually relax in WDW until I saw some people post about it here! And still, I'll believe it when I can actually try it!

In MK it has to be either by aloha isle while enjoying a dole whip or by the partners statue watching the castle. In epcot it has to be on the left side of the fountain if your back is to se. There is a good smoking area there where there are usually not a lot of people.

Might sound crazy but my favorite way to relax at the parks is to just buy a beer and walk around the WS soaking in everything. Of course the best time to do this is during Wine and Food. I never can sit down in any parks unless it's to eat.

Is this a height shot at a certain Disney Podcaster?:ROFLOL:

I like to relax By the water at Epcot Whilst Enjoying a crepe

Cal Naughton, Jr.: You know, just to put this in there, I had a whole mess of crepes this morning. They're just like pancakes, maybe even better.

Always at Aloha Isle enjoying a Dole Whip. At MGM we always stop at Toluca Turkey legs so DH & DS can enjoy a leg and just to relax under the umbrellas for a bit.
Thats about all the relaxing we do.:lookaroun

I like to board the train and stay on it for a few rounds. At Epcot, I like to sit down by the water anywhere, or better yet, on the fountain in Paris eating pastries! At AK I love to sit with a snack down by the river and look at the TOL. At DHS...I don't think I have a nice spot...weird.

I am with ya! I don't get to go very much so it seems every time I do go it is a rush to take in everything and get it all done.
In February of 07 when I went and was by myself a couple times in Epcot I sat down around the lagoon just to kind of relax. I also sat down outside the French pastry shop and enjoyed a treat. I never would have probably went in that shop if I had not been alone.

at MK, walking from Main Street to the Terrace Noodle Station on the left down the stairs where all the little tables are set up, just sitting there watching people, the castle and all the wonders of Disney :)

TTA is definitely a relaxation ride! Especially when you get a nice breeze on a warm day :)

And I love getting a glass of wine in Italy and sitting on steps, or a bench looking across all of World Showcase.

My family and I like to take a rest sitting in Fronteirland near the shooting gallary. There use to be rocking chairs where my mom would always sit while my Dad, sister, and I rode Thundermountain. In Dec. on our last trip there were no more rocking chairs??!! Does anyone know if the rocking chairs are back?? My husband and I also sit there and even played chess a couple of times! And like previously mentioned the TTA (Yes, I still call it the Wed Way Mover) is another fab place to sit and rest!!!
