You Know You're A Disney/DisneyWorld Dork When...

When you miss Disney so you decide to have a Disney dinner night at the house. Last night I made Le Celliers roasted mushroom risotto and it was fantastic! I've also made the salad and chicken wings from Ohana's.

I just made Peanut Butter and Jelly milkshakes from 50's Prime Time last week! I also make rice krispie treats and then use my mickey cookie cutter to cut out the shape and dip the ears in chocolate and decorate w/mickey sprinkles (found in Goofys Candy Kitchen). These are actually going to be part of the fare I bring to my boyfriends parents Superbowl party! Go Steelers!

You know you are a dork when you are making whoopie to your wife and you say "Are you seeing an increase in lateral forces?"

You are beyond hope if she answers: "Sure am."

Not that that has ever happened to me though ....

When someone saying WDW is the happiest place on earth gets you annoyed...

When someone saying Disneyland is worse than WDW because it has less parks gets you even more annoyed...

When you do not support Dreamworks...

Haha. Totally agree on the Dreamworks thing, though it doesn't work as well now that Disney is distributing their movies now...

- When youget to be in charge of the dining ADRs, and change them at least 5 times before you go because you just can't decide!
That was totally me on my last trip (which was the first one I ever planned by myself other than when I was working there on the college program). I think I changed my last one like a couple weeks before the trip! Of course I was going with a first timer so I had to make sure it was the best!

When you order the vacation planning dvd every year just to watch for fun.

When you get annoyed that people don't realize there is so much more to do at Disney World than just the "kiddie rides" at the Magic Kingdom.

When you're totally not a morning person, but you'll gladly wake up before 7 am so you can make it to your breakfast reservations at Disney.

When you work in retail and you start conversations with people when they pay with a Disney credit card.

I definitely grind my teeth on this one!!

How about when you've only been back a month and even your kids are saying "next time we go to Disney I want to stay at the Beach Club"! They're only 5 and 7.

Is it just because it was Disneylands original title? I'm a hardcore Disney junkie and heck I refer to Disney World as the happiest place on earth because in my opinion it is.

my top 10 reasons that I'm a disney dork

1) your ringtone is Reflections of Earth
2) your Christmas list consists of everything Disney
3) you spend the whole workday on WDWMagic
4) everyone comes to you for Disney advice
5) you go to the bookstore and spend the whole time in the travel section
6) all of your family pictures are in a Disney park
7) your significant other gives you a funny face when you tell them that you just heard( insert a frivilous update to the park, i.e changed the rails on fountain of nations)
8) use only the acronym when verbally discussing a park attraction
9) make fake pre-trip reports when you can't make it back to the World soon enough
10) your top websites on your address bar are all disney related(wdwmagic, laughingplace, allears)

eerrr..ummm that's me

When all of your collections ar Disney related. snowglobes, plates, spice jars, figurines, jewelry, bags etc.,

When everyone you know, even aquaintances, ask you for advise on where to stay, what the current deals are at Disney, where to eat and the best times to go to WDW are.

You use a spreadsheet that your family wants to throw at you to maneuver around Disney.

You plan months in advance for a future trip.

Guilty - I had multiple spreadsheets for my last trip and the friend I was with (a first timer) seriously looked at me like I needed my head read when I pulled them out on the plane ride in and started trying to show them to her

When you're only 29 but you've already decided when you retire you're moving to Orlando specifically and only to be a CM, at any position they are hopefully willing to offer you. :sohappy:

Me too. I figure that loading/unloading for HM or SE (and all that walking on the moving floor area) will be ideal for keeping my brittle old body in shape.
