...when you call WDW JUST to hear the music, talk to a CM, & get info on stuff you of course already know, but need to hear to hold you over until your next trip...

corrupted a family member

:goodnevilyou know your an addict when your sister doesnt feel the pull of disney so you go out of your way to corrupt her 2 year old little boy into a disney nut. Now he does the hot dog dance any time there is music and has learned to make gagging sounds to any cartoon other than disney channel. Any time he is asked to help Mommy pick up toys he yells "OH TOODLES"

Also when you take time once a month either on a snowed in day or too hot to be outside to watch the newest disney vacation dvd and dream plan your next trip as a family. Even thought its just a dream we end up booking the kids favorite one.

When nobody in your family wants to play one of your four Disney trivia board games with you, because they already know you are going to win... :lookaroun

(just had another one happen to me)

You know that you're a Disney/ Disney World dork when you are walking by 2 doctors at work and one of them says " Yeah and they still had that big sphere thing that you can ride in at the Magic Kingdom" and almost become weak at the knees due to their lack of knowledge about the parks.

All you can do is smile and laugh under your breath. It happens to me all the time!!! Does no good to try to explain!!!

I've never done Disney on Ice, but whenever I feel too removed from the World I go to the Disney Store and walk around. It's nice just to hear the music!

The Disney Store in my city closed down. They said they were going to open a new one, but it's been gone for a while now.

Gives me an idea for the thread!

... you research and seek out Disney stores in any city you are visiting.

When you're listening to IASW Holiday on your Disney Christmas playlist in your car with the windows down and you come to a red light and another guy listening to rap pulls up, looks at you funny and you yell back at him "This is my JAM!"...true story:D

These are fantastic, and oh so familiar  Here's some of my "symptoms" of Disney dork-dom:

  • My ringtone is the Irons SSE finale...and I often let it go to voicemail just because i don't want to interrupt the song (the monorail chime is my text ringer).
  • I listen to WDW background loops while writing copy at work (totally de-stresses me and helps me get in the "zone"). Usually on my iPod, but sometimes on Live 365 (of which I am a premium member for, you guessed it, the Disney channels - all my presets are Disney channels...despite the fact that I have all the songs on my Mac!).
  • I used to silently judge people who wore Crocs...until I tried them on...and now when the weather's nice, all I wear are my Mickey Crocs (why, oh why, don't they make them for adults any more?).
  • After it closed, I bought one of the seat button controller thingies from Who Wants to Be a Millionaire - Play It!, and it's in my cubicle.

You incidentally smell Haunted Mansion, Spaceship Earth, the Polynesian, Star Tours, the Great Movie Ride, or the Monorail at miscellaneous moments of your day. For instance: you get out of the shower, dry your hair with a damp towel, and smell it. You immediately think of Splash Mountain.

Come on. I know I'm not the only one.

But I'm a creep......I'm a weirdo.....
