I was just coming on here to brag my infraction was worth 20 points and a 15 day under the "you better not do anything along the lines of even breathing around here" thing.

Instead I find I've missed so much banter on this while fiasco! They made the group a closed group? Bummer! I was going to sneak a peek at it.

I'm still tempted to post the links to the Cruise Critic reports on those other ships dealing with the extra day, or those who left out of NY/NJ on Sunday just to get a rise out of the mob over at that other b*$#! fest.

Try and join. They might ask if you were on the cruise and at most might want your room number which you can just pull a random one off the room map of the Fantasy. I have found their whining to be quite entertaining.

The person who started that facbook group appears to be a Disney travel agent or at least has taken the Disney TA courses. I wonder how the mouse would feel about her little group?
I know that when we went out on our cruise on the Dream on the 18th ... their was a large contingency of 'Cruise One' Peoples and Travel Agents on our ship ... I know because one tried to lure me into booking a trip with them during the Sailing Away party. I wonder if some of the same people were also on the Fantasy Sailing later in the week.

(Don't worry Tammy - I told them I was never going to leave my current agent, she's the best.)

And that is so against Disney's Travel Agent policy! They respectfully request that travel agents do not solicit business onboard their ships. They have no problem if agents discuss their business when asked, but an agent is not supposed to say, "Hey I'm a travel agent...do you want to make a booking with me?" Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Will do! I'll have to wait until I get home as FB is blocked at my workplace. *sigh* I'm sure it is quite the entertainment site right now!

I felt the same way. I made the mistake of asking what Cruise One was to the guy and he ran with it. Glad to know it is frowned upon with Disney, although I will say the people I saw from the organization interacting with the cast at dinner were rude as hell, complaining about who's table was served first, etc.

Definitely not the sort you want to have handling your Magical vacations, I'm sure. I'm with you. You'd have to shoot me to get me to switch TAs. Even then I might just spit in your eye because at that point I'd rather die then give the shooter the satisfaction. LOL!

So, Richard, they're still crying over there then?

Like you would not believe. Apparently a news reporter from Fox 35 in Orlando has contacted one of them through a youtube video they posted. The sad thing is I bet Disney will cave and give them all a free cruise.

Yeah, but karma's a b****. Free cruises and all the money in the world can't buy happiness for a miserable soul. I'll have to keep on having faith that it'll come back around.

The big super-thread over there has been closed. The mod said she really didn't have the time to keep policing it.

More news reports. Oy.

Richard, how do you even have time to keep up with this AND all the Star Wars news? My hubby is like a kid in a candy shop he's so excited. :)

Don't make me no nevermind . ;) I fully expect we will book another Disney cruise, when the boy is a little older. This isn't gonna scare me off. :D

Exactly. Hopefully this will spell lower cruise fares for the fall of '13. Oh...now that I think about it...are you booking out of Galveston on the Wonder next year??

We talked a bit about next May on the Magic that goes to Port Canaveral, Key West, and Castaway Cay. Honestly though, my boy will be 2 this Christmas and I am not sure he is going to be ready by then. I don't think he had enough room to run and play on the last cruise (sept 26) without getting hurt. I was constantly worried about him running and going down the stairs. He had trouble at dinner sitting that long. And is just at that age where he just takes off with no idea where or why he is going. He just goes. As much as I hate it, I think we need to wait a bit longer. Especially for the sake of everyone else on the ship. :)

Joanna!!! I've been really worried about you!!! I thought for sure you were hiding out somewhere totally shell-shocked...and to top that awfulness we'd lose you on the girls cruise! I'm so glad you're back (totally understand about life getting in the way) and that you're okay. Definitely sounds like our WDWMagic peeps kept a much more level head thru all the craziness...and after... LOL! Welcome home! Can't wait to hear all about it!

Yeah, I hate when real life gets in the way o_O I hope to start on the TR soon

The groups latest plan is in Email carpet bomb to 3 Disney executives. If every member of the group does this the executives will receive a grand total of 148 emails. I see more than 148 emails a day and I am a flat out nobody.

LOL! Sounds desperate and childish to me. But okay. Yeah, I easily get in excess of 148 emails a day and I'm a fellow-flat-out-nobody. LOL!

One member has now posted pictures of the gift shops. Some of them show items that have fallen over but many show a clear effort to take things down in preparation for rough seas. I can not wait for the comments.
