I don't think "worst" is the best descriptor because it implies that any are bad. None are bad. However, Animal Kingdom is a lot like any zoo, imho, and so I would pass on that park before any of the others.

HS just due to the lack of thing to do (and the effect that has on the waits) even with TSL, plus the jumbled and incoherent theming. AK used to always be my least favorite, but Pandora + the GMR closure tipped the scales.

Epcot has... a messed up Test Track, a messed up Soarin', a messed up Journey Into Imagination, a ride whose greatest quality is that it spins you around really fast, an abandoned pavilion, a pavilion so untouched it might as well be abandoned, and freaking Nemo. And that's just Future World. Epcot is easily in the worst position of all four of the parks right now, which is why it gets my vote. When your best ride is SE, SE is still a great ride, but that's a problem in 2018.

EPCOT will never be my least favorite as long as the WS is still there in more or less its current form. Future World is just gravy to me.

DHS has Tower of Terror, RnRC, Star Tours, Muppets, with Runaway Railway and Galaxy's Edge on their way. Yes, it doesn't have the identity it once had, but that's on purpose. It still has a direction, attractions with promise coming soon, and multiple attractions that are renowned.

I think Aaronardo raised some valid points concerning Epcot. You suggest that FW is just gravy to you, and I'm genuinely curious if you visited when FW anchored that park? IMO, WS lacks any real depth save the American Adventure. The movies are tired, Frozen seems out of place, and don't even talk to me about the boat ride in Mexico. There's only so many times you browse the trinkets in those shops. We still enjoy a half day or so at Epcot, but it's lost so much that it just can't compete with MK or AK at this point.

For us, it's always been AK. I know this is a fave for many. It does have so many great details, but I don't want to spend endless amounts of time on details and even with Pandora, we find ourselves struggling to make a full day out of it. Sure, DHS is hurting for things to do (for now) to make it a full day park, but I felt like we had fairly equal amounts of downtime in both parks on our past trip. No, we didn't do every single little thing there is to do in the park to try and occupy every single spare second, but we've tried the majority of these things before and have a lot of "don't care to repeat" experiences. Also, while we're fairly heat tolerant people, that doesn't mean I want to bake all day...and AK tends to be hotter and doesn't have as many places to cool off.

I went as a kid in the 90's. WS is just one of my favorite things at Disney.

I don't have a good feel for Epcot during most of the 90's as I had gotten busy with a career and then getting married and starting a family. By the time I got back to going, it had totally morphed. I recall that throughout the 80's, FW was fresh and relevant.

Sounds like everybody is trashing DHS, because it is going through an identity crisis. Eisner coming from Universal thought Disney needed a Universal Park too. He also thought Californians needed a California park too. The parks each have their own identity and good/bad points, but to say worst. Neither. They all are good. Yes, DHS is going through a big change, but in the end it should be fun eclectic park something for everyone.

If one of the new SW rides tops FoP it would get out of the last spot for me

It's DHS. It's not a factor of being negative but it's still in transition. SW:GE and MRR are not yet open. When GE opens, SWLB will probably close and become something else.

The worst park for me is always going to be Hollywood Studios. I don't enjoy watching the shows because of my short attention span. The only ride I can go on is Toy Story Midway Mania. I'll go to Muppet Vision for a place to take a nap in the AC. The other rides currently trigger my motion sickness and/or vertigo. I don't like Star Wars so I'm not even looking forward to experience that new land. It's a total waste of money for me to go there. I'll go when SW opens because my husband is a huge fan but it's not something I will enjoy. It's a "one and done" type of park for me. Plus, they have the worst food options out of all of the parks.

It broke my heart a bit to vote for Epcot. It's still my nostalgic favorite, but the front of the park seems to be torn in so many different directions.

what's messed up about teset track and soarin?

Maybe not the most popular opinion, but I think Test 2.0 removed a lot of the personality and appeal of the original. It feels so soulless now, where there used to be genuine wonder in learning about how manufacturers test their cars. The new tone just removes any of the excitement or chaos the ride used to have for me especially with that reassuring computer voice. The whole game thing is confusing for me as well, since we have six or so people that designed different cars... all getting in the same physical car.

As for Soarin’, it’s mainly the new video. Any of the original’s raw beauty and majesty muddled by CGI whales and awkward transitions. Just ruins the immersion for me.

That identity crisis has been around for over a decade, but it is not the only reason for my voting for DHS being the worst park. That crisis is not going to be completely gone after Star Wars Galaxies Edge opens due to Indiana Jones Stunt show. Disney admitted during the opening of Toy Story Land that they want to get a rid of stuff that shows how movies are made, but yet Indiana Jones Stunt show is still showing stunts.

DHS besides having a theme issue, has a age problem with its stage shows. Indiana Jones, Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast first came to DHS as a stage shows from the 1989 to 1994 time period. Disney for its theme parks worldwide outside of this park, doesn't allow stage shows to run as the Indy Stunt show. Disney also never bothered updating those three shows also without counting the one time stuff like Indiana Jones vs Darth Vader. Those 3 shows not being updated or replaced is problem for those who went to WDW multiple time.

Disney's theme problem has been around since the mid 2000s

The theme problem is DHS is caused by one of its 2 concepts of the park park being gone around 2004. DHS was part theme park and part television and motion picture production facility. Back in the 1990s, the studio part was used for stuff like filming professional wrestling matches and other live action stuff including Hulk Hogan's old tv show Thunder in Paradise. Disney MGM studios having a backlot tour at the time was due to live taping of stuff. Disney also did make animated movies such as Lilo and Stitch at Disney MGM Studios also.

The theme problem took a hit when Eisner decided not to do anymore production in Florida and closed the Florida Animation studio. Disney kept acting like its a true studio to its guests after that, but it didn't fit the theme of the park with stuff like Toy Story Midway Mania.
