Many people would put MK as worst if they are rating on the total happiness/comfort feeling. Once you are in or on an attraction you're happy and feel fine, but getting through the crowds, waiting in line, navigating ECVs and strollers along narrow walkways, etc can quickly make you feel unhappy and stressed.

I know way back when (my 35 yo daughter was still stroller age), before they overbuilt things at Epcot, and after several hours in the crowded MK, it was a relief to be able to move freely around Epcot.

It's not only that. MK's food options are mediocre, and despite having "a lot of attractions" a lot of them are outright boring, IMO.

Plus, the truth is, MK is just the florida version of Disneyland that's slightly bigger in size (though it has less attractions), with a bigger castle. Nothing unique about it at all. At the end of the day, MK will always live in the shadow of Disneyland. It's just the way it is.

That said, I still like it a lot, and I completely understand why it's the #1 park of WDW, and probably always will be. It's definitely has the most to offer for families.

And that's where I think some people are way too hard on the Magic Kingdom. It won't "always love in the shadow of Disneyland," because Disneyland doesn't overshadow Magic Kingdom (it's actually the other way around in the public despite Disneyland's attraction roster). Magic Kimgdom isn't slightly larger than Disneyland, DL is slightly larger than DCA, but MK is substantially larger than DL. And while MK was certainly birthed from Disneyland, there are some differences and as both parks move forward they will differentiate even more. I don't think it's very fair to act like MK is just doomed to always second to Disneyland. Even if most on the forum prefer DL, because whether they do or not, both are enjoyable parks that have both their differences and respective adventages over the other.

HS is now a park for 1/2 day. The whole spririt of the park has changed. Everything seems in transition to another kind of park. On a busy day you can't even walk.

Wow, HS is by far the least loved park. A little surprising give TSL and soon to be Star Wars land. HS doesn't offer much, so what WDW is doing to expand it, is welcome.

I never really liked AK, just something that never grabbed me. We visited Pandora and did FOP, which is absolutely the best ride we ever been on, but yet taken as a whole, we never stay long at AK, there's just not much for us there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That's your opinion and that's fine. I disagree. MK is just Disneyland 2.0, which is fine, but nothing about it stands out as particularly unique or original, IMO.

I mean, I respect your opinions of course, but is when you say nothing about it is particularly unique... does it mean that you don't find those traits important?

I voted HS. The layout is terrible. The theme now is completely off. For these reasons "I'm out". However, I do like the adult rides better than most.

Epcot. At least with DHS Disney is finally getting off their lazy .

Epcot? Future World? Yeah if the future is still 1982. They should be ashamed of what they are charging to get in there, actually they should be paying the customer.

I stand by if it wasn’t for Universal, Disney wouldn’t be updating anything.

Precisely what I say. Also, while World Showcase is Epcot's only saving grace, it could ise more rides and countries to depict the world accurately. I know as a western park it is subject to western views, but the point of WS is to show other cultures and civilozations, and those most in needs of that are places like Kenya, Saudi Arabia, and Korea. So add some more countries with actual attractions in most of the countries added.

More like the future is still 2000. It hasn't changed all too much from that era.
Well luckily a revival is in the works, I am hopeful for it. And honestly don't care much what happens with it anymore, as long as the attractions are better than what's there now.

I’m really waiting on Brazil and India to be added. Both deserve a spot.

I already said why it isn't particularly unique. It's basically Disneyland 2.0. In fact, it IS Disneyland 2.0. Sure there are some differences, but there's no doubt whatsoever that MK is the sister park of Disneyland. There's a reason why the two are constantly compared. In fact, I think that's largely the reason why MK is the most popular in WDW. It's modeled after the original Disney park. The other three aren't.

That's not what I asked. I said that MK is objectively unique and asked whether or jot you simply don't care to recognize that.

I don't understand why this is a big deal to you. Every other park has been thoroughly criticized in this thread, but someone dares to say anything "negative" about the sainted MK, and all of a sudden it's an issue.

It's not a big deal lol. I'm just talking. And for the record I criticize MK all of the time. It is not my favorite park, my favorite park in DAK and if you said it was just a zoo, you'd be just as wrong. I don't why you think this is upsetting to me... I am just talking.

it honestly depends on what the criteria is. IS it the most flawed from a design? Which one I like least as a concept? which one I dislike the most in its current form? Because if its which park appeals to me the least it is the animal park. Because as a concept its the one I like the least. I haven't been since Pandora opened but it seemed very lacking (I'm also not a person that does a lot of shows and wouldn't waste the time on the safari). Currently though and the way I voted was DHS just because its a shell and really not much is opened. So for me DHS right now is the worst, but it wasn't before all of the closures, and it wont be once star wars opens.

Haha to each their own man. I love the idea of Disney's Animal Kingdom and I think its message is the most important of all - this is because, while Epcot also has an important message, getting people to care about nature as opposed to other people is very difficult, as nature doesnxt affect people living in urban areas and they see animals and they don't evoke any sort of emotion. So to me the goal of DAK is to show how important and wonderous nature is in its grandeur.

For me, DHS has the least compelling concept to me, since I don't really find it to evoke any significant emotion that the Magic Kingdom doesn't. However I picked Epcot because even though it has a unique concept and important message, it is not executed well imo. It forgets the entertainment in edutainment and voila, you have Ellen. But like I said, everyone likes different things, that's the beauty of having 4 unique parks. Kilimanjaro Safaris is my favorite attraction on property and is one of the few remaining vision Walt had that came to be decades past him. But some peoe just generally hold no interest in animals or nature so it doesn't float their boat (which I can't understand haha).

That's why we have zoos. Before Pandora you had expedition Everest (which I love and could ride for hours) the rapids, and dinosaur. Nothing else appealed to me and the latter of the two weren't awe inspiring. And its so disconnected travel wise from the other three. Once again its all opinion. Epcot is my favorite after MK.
