I can't wait to wear it in WDW. I'm going to turn the distance tracker on for the walk from DHS to Epcot so when my Dad says, "Oh, it's not that far!" I can say, "Uh, I beg to differ!":hilarious:

I don't like wearing electronic distance trackers. However, in the case of walking around WDW, I'd be curious to know just how far you walk in a day down there. I think some people way over-estiimate the miles they've walked, but with an electronic device, you'd get an accurate answer.

Just for grins and giggle when I got home I put a few of my vacation walks into map my walk and my calculations were pretty spot on. I'm sure that has something to remembering some of the distances that are on some of the maps in the Unofficial guide.

It's not that far. I make my boys do it at least once a trip. I may or may not have been trying to wear them out.
My dad is famous for his, "If the boat is not at the dock when we get there, we walk" frame of mind. Even if we can see the boat coming. Last time the boat beat us to DHS from Yacht/Beach, and I was like, "Um, see! That would have been faster!"

I understand it when we're at Boardwalk because it really would be more of a hassle, but not at Beach Club.

Good morning!! It is 35 but sunny and no wind today!! Finally! Between the cold temps and heavy winds and the snow on Sunday, too early!!
Got my walking in at lunchtime. Same today while DH is starting his prep meds for colonoscopy tomorrow. Ugh! Gotta get up Figgy-time:5:30. I don’t do early! We will need naps tomorrow afternoon.
Good thing is he will be off the rest of the week though.
Everyone have a good rest of the week! Happy Halloween!!

My Fitbit is tracking all kinds of information. The other night, I could tell exactly when my mom let my cat Belle into my room because I was awake for six minutes at about midnight. Then, last night, I started texting one of my friends about WDW, and I must have been excited because my heart rate went way up. :joyfull:

Anyway, yesterday I walked 1.5 miles in just over 30 minutes, so I was pretty proud of myself. Probably will do the same thing today since it will be about 70 degrees during my lunch break.

Do you have to set it for sleep or does it do that automatically? I have to tell mine I'm going to sleep and I always forget.
