Nice! Mine is definitely not that high tech. It's a good motivator though.
I thought about getting one that wasn't a Fitbit brand, but I decided nope, I'm going to buy what I'll be happy with without spending too much (not like $300 for a smartwatch; really don't need all that) and that was a Fitbit. And now I'm happy I did.

Plus, there are so many, many replacement bands for Fitbits. I like switching things up.

Here is my latest. I wear it to work, and no one suspects I'm wearing a fitness tracker. Of course, I do switch back to the soft band when I go to bed or exercise, but this one is gorgeous.

Good Monday afternoon! Just checking in after a very busy week. Got all my walking in every day and did weights a couple of days. I got most of my workouts outside lifting and transplanting flowers and raking. lol
My DH got through his colonoscopy fine. He can now go back in 5 yrs instead of 3 yrs. We are relieved and now he is enjoying regular food again.
My bp was down to 119//69 on Thurs after only taking the new med for 6 days. I was so excited. Then, we decided to go to Chili's and eat chicken fajitas. Yeah, I paid dearly for that one meal. :banghead: My bp on Sat was up to 134/74. I googled and those fajitas have 2880 mg of sodium!! Why do we cook with so much salt??!! Anyways, between now and the next dtr appt., I am going to really watch it. I am so tired of having to watch every bit of salt in everything. :arghh: I think next visit, I am telling him that we are just going to watch it for a few months. This going every 3 weeks is not helping any - too stressful!!
Ok going to have chicken soup from the crockpot for dinner with some veggies. Going to go walk in a bit. Now where did that sun go? We had sun only an hour ago.

For fajitas just do Like @epcotisbest does and cook everything on a griddle and add the seasonings of your choice just don't use the prepackaged mixes they have way toooooo much sodium:jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop: Glad the new meds are working.

Good morning I've been very busy with holiday prep. My plan have everything and i mean everything but the Christmas decorating done by the Monday before Thanksgiving! My shopping is done and I even have all the pantry and freezer stuff bought for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Somehow I even wound up with 2 hams. I sent my dh and boys to dig to the bottom of the chest freezer just to make sure I needed to buy one.:cautious: I've backed off a bit on workouts due to this:oops: As of yesterday I'm back on track:joyfull: also the time change has me up earlier than normal so I already did today's practice and a few LS miles:joyfull: The cold weather has me experimenting today. I'm making a cream of broccoli soup with the vindaloo curry seasoning(no sodium) I got at the health food store. Wish me luck. I hope everybody is healthy and happy

Oh yummy! Those look a lot better than what we had to eat at Chili's! Ohh, thanks for the pix of the seasoning. I will look for that!! ;)

We like Chilis fajitas too, and we especially like their chips and salsa. I think they have the best, thin, crispy chips, but I tend to eat way too many of them. You can make things at home with much less salt, just takes a little prep time, but worth it in the long run. Be careful with the bought salsa though, it can have lots of sodium.

Welcome back!!!!!!!!!!!!! You've been missed in these parts!

Thanks, I have been reading some but not posting much. Been traveling some, went to Savannah again and just staying busy at home too. Leaves are changing here and starting to drop, so there will be lots of leaf blowing coming up. Although fall is here, we have been having record high temps the past few days. 80 degrees and leaf blowing is kinda odd. It's only 70 and overcast and drizzly right now, but they are saying possibly another record high (79) before the day is over. Dark before 6p.m. Now and I am not a fan of that.

Yeah salsa with little salt is hard to find. I make pico de gallo sometimes to substitute.

Yeah you have been having heat like us but much hotter. I guess we’ll get lots cooler in a few days with that cold front.
I definitely hate the dark early!! Ugh! I love the lighter in the mornings though!

So this griddle talk inspired me to come home this evening and make shrimp fried rice on the Blackstone griddle. Turned out very good, but it got dark on me before I was finished. Here is the step-by-step cook. Oh, @93boomer I used Kikkoman Less Sodium Soy Sauce and it was good, but still 610mg per tablespoon, so I used very little.
