working out for Disney

So I admit to being a bit of a news junkie, and the news lately has just been a bit overwhelming. I have got to watch less as it is just so depressing sometimes.
So today at lunch I needed a diversion so I came in and put Collective Soul on the dvd player, cranked up the surround sound and blasted out "Shine."
The dogs were barking, the subwoofer was thumping, the walls were shaking, pictures on the wall were rattling and I was bouncing around the kitchen playing air guitar with the spoon I used to slather mayo on my cold meatloaf sandwich. If anyone had looked in the window they would have thought, and probably been partially right, that I was nuts.
Heaven, let your light shine down.

Hello-

I think I am feeling a bit better cold-wise, today. I might be able to get out for a walk. My shoulder feels a bit better, too. If I work out, it will be a lower body work out that doesn't require a kettle bell swings. I'll see how I feel later on.

I am making chicken breast (s) that I flatten, then I put pickles, swiss cheese and ham on it, and roll it up. It's supposed to be a like a Cuban sandwich. You're supposed to dip it egg and then panko and seasoned bread crumbs, but I just sprinkle the crumbs on. It's less messy and the roll up stays intact. I'll just serve that with veggies and some brown rice.
I haven't had a cuban in FOREVER:( Note to self fix that asap:joyfull:

Hello-

So, yesterday, I went for a walk and later on, I did a lower body workout. It felt like I turned the corner with this cold, but I woke up at 3AM with so much pressure in my head. I got up and showered. I have a built-in bench in my shower, so I just cranked up the hot water and let gravity and steam do its thing while I sat there. I was able to sleep for a bit before the pressure built up again. I think today is going to be a couch potato day. :depressed:

Good afternoon all! I had a bp followup appointment this morning. My bp has gone down a smidgen--it's only been a week on the meds. But, he wants to be aggressive and prescribed a stronger dose. So hopefully this will do what he wants. At least, I found out that I can eat out every so often and have a margarita! That was good. I told him I feel that my life revolves around my medications. He said to just do what I have been doing and take the meds but go out and enjoy life. So, I can going to do that and stop worrying about this. So I am going outside and be happy and move around. :rolleyes:

How do you make such a pork-laden sandwich vegan?
Substitutes. I almost never buy them but every once in a while I'll pick some up for a sandwich. GF ones are hard to find but there are a few and my health food store carries some. Funny thing is by the time I got to the store I was in the mood for a BLT on cibatta:confused: Another thing I almost never buy rolls but they were on sale:joyfull:

Good morning one ywa done then when the boys leave a nap followed by walking and I want to try one of the recently posted practices on youtube later. Psychetruth is doing a free trial week just a little FYI. Tonight's dinner BLT salad I have to use up the rest of the B. LOL
