Just a little FYI I'm doing better today and the pills aren't knocking me out quite as much:joyfull: No driving or lifting until Monday, better safe than sorry. I did manage to do LS's 5 fat burning miles and my dh drove me to the farm market. I got some local (hot house) squash and peppers:joyfull: at the normal summer price:):):) a couple of small cucumbers a whole lot of greens and a couple of heads of cauliflower.

Good morning and it really is. I'm getting used to the stupid allergy pills and I'm going to brave a couple of nice outside walks, but no driving for another day. Better safe and all that. 5 advanced miles are done and it's smoothies all around for breakfast. It seems when I sent my boys to see how much blueberries I had in the big freezer they decided to open the door and close it right away without looking:cautious: Now I've got the berry market cornered:facepalm: Maybe it was their way of saying I need to make blueberry bread:rolleyes: Seeing the oven is going to be on I'm making garbanzo bean loaf for dinner and I have leftovers for lunch:joyfull:

Can you ever really have enough blueberries though? I eat them with lowfat vanilla yogurt and oats every morning for breakfast. They are great in smoothies, too!

Good morning 5 LS miles and 5 outside today:) I took advantage of the "nice" weather bundled up and went out with both groups. I'm making a spinach salad with "bacon" and tomatoes for lunch and a veggie bean soup for dinner. It isn't bad out but it could be 15 degrees warmer.

Hello-

I haven't been working out, because I have been house hunting. We looked at four on Sunday and ten yesterday--so over it. The funny thing is, the very first house we viewed is the one I fell in love with. I loved it on the website and it looks even better in person. Everything else I saw after that was "meh." So we are going for a second viewing tonight, just to look at everything a b it more closely. We will most likely put an offer in once we clear up some things on the disclosure form. Fingers crossed we get it.

I have been trying to eat well, but it's hit or miss. We are staying in a Residence Inn, so we have a kitchen. I have made a stir fry and some fajitas. I am going to try to workout in a bit. I brought my iPad, so I can stream something and work out in our room. There is really nowhere to walk around here and it's not a pedestrian-friendly area. I do have access to a gym across the street, but I have to cross 6 lanes of traffic to get there. I don't feel like playing Frogger today! I figure I can just get back into my old routine when my son and I fly back Sunday.

I meant to say that we bought tickets for the final night of the Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival on Sunday. It was in Franklin Square. The only thing I didn't care for the tickets had timed entry. We got 6 PM tickets and it wasn't totally dark until after 9. You could not leave Franklin Square once you were admitted. Franklin Square is not very big. So, the line for the food was long and the line for the ladies' was longer--trust me, I know.

Anyway, the weather was sublime and this was something novel for us. I could have done without the naked, drunk guy in the bushes of the Temple Podiatry building shouting at me, but you can't have everything.

So, here are some selected photos.

Good morning Wednesday upper body and walk jog intervals done:) The weather today is going to be near perfect for walking so I'm going to spend a good deal of time outside and coming in frequently to hydrate. Tonight's dinner "meatloaf" with tomato corn salsa and a large salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, scallions, squash noodles and a spicy vinegarette:hungry:

So not long ago I was complaining it was too cold to walk frequently. Now, here in the south, it is getting too hot and humid. Will do more early morning and late night walking as an alternative to the late afternoon heat.

Beautiful photos, thanks for sharing. Drunken, naked guys do tend to put a damper on any pleasant evening. Some people just have no respect for others.
