working out for Disney

Not that anyone has any reason to care, I thought I would follow up. After removal of the stint on Monday, for the first time in 6 weeks I feel like my old self again. The body does fight foreign objects planted within doesn't it. And, for the benefit of @betty rose and her DH, I didn't have to consume a single beer. I did, however, consume enough water to float the cruise ship you have scheduled in the fall. At my age it scares me to overwork any of my currently working organs and my kidneys are no exception.:)

Hello-

I tried a new workout today from the streaming service I subscribe to. It was called Grit and it was one of those 30 minute, but intense workouts. I'd been avoiding these because these drill-type workouts can be repetitive, but this was not bad at all. I thought I'd be doing a zillion burpees and mountain climbers, but nope. It was a combination strength and cardio workout , so I used my barbell, too. I feel pretty good and maybe the increased exertion will help me sleep better. :)

I didn't even know you had a stent, it's good to hear you're feeling normal again. :)

Good frigid morning I did upper body weights and Walk to the hits party Songs just to warm up. I'm going out with whatever little sun there is before the rain sets back in. At least I have salad and left overs because I really want to get some sewing done if it does rain

Everybody give a big CONGRATS to @epcotisbest it seems he did a lot of biking and walking, not to mention pool hopping and a visit to a farm market during his recent vacation. He even passed on a magic cookie bar. Way to go my friend!

I'll second that. I agree, because I read his TR--outstanding.

Thank you. You can maintain healthy habits while traveling, but the eating in the room thing is not for everyone. We had salads and veggies often and did a whole lot of riding and walking. Had we visited the parks every day it would not have been possible...oh, I don't know, maybe just much more of a challenge, requiring much more effort, to eat right and avoid all the calorie and sugar loaded temptations.

I had all the windows open yesterday and I left my bedroom window open. It wasn't hot, but it was about low 70s. I had to close it in the middle of the night. It got so chilly in my bedroom. :coldfeet:

I enjoyed it, too .I loved seeing the farmer's market and the different pools. The laid-back vibe really came through in the TR.

I remember a few years ago someone posted a TR. She mentioned that they stopped at rest stop to use the facilities during the drive down. Then she said she used said facilities, but then realized there was no TP. She said she "bare butted" to the next stall to get toilet paper. OMG, why would you think that is something you need to share with the world????

Try and get some rest while you can and I'm glad he's all better for his trip!
I'm glad he was better, too, thanks! He said he had a great time and he went on the Wilde Waterbaan (basically splash mountain) 5 times. He LOVES that ride. I'm thinking he's going to want to do that one multiple times in Disney. I got a fastpass for it, and I scheduled us to arrive at rope drop and go there first so he can do that one a few times before it gets busy.

Cracked me up! Was she European? Sometimes at work I think about how the conversations at break time would not fly in the US. It can get really inappropriate!
