Sympathy like. if either of my boys ever ran a fever that high I'd panic and be straight at the hospital. I'm hoping being back on the computer is a good sign and I hope he's all better in time for his trip
Well, if I hadn't been to the doctor with him yesterday, I'd be there today with him, but since he's actually looking a bit better today, I'm not too worried. And the doctor also asked how high the fever was and he said if it gets up around 39.8 or so, THAT'S when you worry. It's a high fever, but not necessarily a dangerously high one, yet.

I don't know about the quiet part. lol:p He snored a lot, and when he wasn't snoring, he was talking in his sleep! He slept for about 7 hours yesterday during the day. He woke up at 10pm just as I was getting home from choir and wanted food. He ate 2 chicken nuggets and told daddy he needed more sleep and could he please go back to bed. Not sure what time he woke up this morning....he didn't come get me, so DH was probably up. But he still didn't want food and his temp was back up to 39.3C (103F). I got him to let me give him more paracetamol now though and he's playing on the computer, so he's a bit better than yesterday, thanks!

It sounds like he turned the corner. I am glad he's feeling a bit better.

So, yesterday, I took a very long walk without sunscreen. :cautious: Today, I am going to do some strength training. I hoping to get out for a walk, but it's been raining since about 4 AM. Unfortunately, my son has his 8th grade class trip to Six Flags Great America today. I wish it could have been better weather for him, but I am sure he will have fun anyway.

Tomorrow is his last day of school and I can turn off the alarm on my phone.

But I am having my carpets cleaned on Friday and I am scheduled for 8 AM, but this guy always shows up at 7:30. I think that's rude. I am not letting him until 8 AM. LOL

I'm working again tonight, so I'm not doing an extra workout. I'm still in my 3 weeks of "no strenuous activity" and not over-doing it. It's so hard, because I'm raring to go, but I know I can't because that can make it worse and I need to be good for the long-term. DS is still home today. His fever was gone, but he still isn't feeling great and his pattern is usually to get better one day and then the fever comes back the next, so I want to keep him home today and see how he is tomorrow. DD is gone for the day on their class trip to Hellendoorn. (amusement park) So I don't have a school run until 4:00 when they are due back. It would have been a perfect day to get in some serious walking. *sigh* Looks like you all are doing my share of exercise too though, so thanks!

Be careful, make that very careful as you're under 60 days to go! I'm so happy the fever is gone and I hope it doesn't come back!

Okay, so I said I was going to lift weights yesterday and I didn't. Because the storms passed through and the severe weather they said we were going to get never happened! So, I could not resist sunny, walking weather--with sunscreen. I loaded some new tunes onto my phone and went for it. Plus, my son had sunny weather at Six Flags.

Today was the last alarm, the last breakfast made and the last lunch prepared for the school year and as an 8th grader for my son.

I have canceled the carpet cleaner. I have too much stuff going on tomorrow. Tomorrow night is my son's graduation and I have a lot of errands to run. I don't want to feel stressed if I can help it.

So, I will do some sort of resistance training today. :)

I don't blame you for going out when it's nice, glad you remembered the sunscreen! Congrats again to your ds and no need for stress on his happy day!

I am in with another long walk. I know I said I was going to lift weights today, but I haven't been sleeping well the past few weeks. Walking is the right thing for me right now. I feel kind of weak from not sleeping well. LOL I think I'll have another crack at it tomorrow maybe. I'm just tired and stressed out.

Sympathy like. Sounds like you need a rest. Take care of yourself. Walking seems like a great thing for now!

I worked last night and alternated walking and packing. The longest I walked was like...40 minutes, and then I packed for a while, then walked for 20, then packed again. I spent most of the evening packing, but I got some walking done and I'm still fine today so far, so I think I did pretty well regulating. Today, my exercise is going to be what I planned for Tuesday when Mister Man got sick. He had no fever yesterday and it was still gone this morning, so I sent him back and I am going to take my bike to the Centrum and exchange some shorts I bought for DS for a bigger size (the kid is growing like a weed!) and get a library book he reserved, and hopefully get some new shorts for DD, and maybe a new jacket. So 20 minute bike ride each way with a bit of walking in between.
@Sans Souci , did your son have fun at 6 flags? DD had a blast on their trip yesterday, though I didn't get to hear about it until this morning because they were 45 minutes late getting home and dh had to whisk her off to her last musical theater lesson and then he dropped me off at work on his way to pick her up again and I didn't get home until long after the kids were in bed. But she was talking about coasters, and something like kali river rapids, etc.

Good for you and I'm glad both yourself and your ds are on the mend.

Yes. The weather totally cleared up for them. I was relieved for them. They said we were going to have severe weather--hail, damaging winds, but it never happened. He loves all the crazy coasters, whereas I won't go on them.

I am glad your DS is better. My brother had meningitis and he was in the hospital for over a week. My mom went to wake him from school and he wouldn't move. She thought he was faking and she went to open his blinds and he let off the most blood curdling howl. I had to leave for school, but when I returned home, my grandmother was waiting for me to tell me he's been hospitalized. I am so hyper vigilant about the symptoms now.

Enjoy your mani-pedi. I am need of a gel manicure, my nails are splitting. I might go today, myself. My feet are a mess. :depressed:

I went for another walk. :hilarious: My husband is here today and he's driving me crazy. I just wanted some solitude, so I went for a long walk. Tonight is my son's graduation, so I've been making sure things are ready for that--steaming his gown, making sure his clothes are pressed, and making sure I have something suitable to wear. LOL
