working out for Disney

Good morning LS 5 advanced miles today and I'm going to do some yoga later as I'll need it because everybody is home today and will bug the heck out of me LOL Due to the beautiful warm weather I'm going raw today greens and berry smoothie for breakfast, assorted veggie salad with guacamole dressing for lunch, pina colada smoothie for snack and salad for dinner. The guys are getting stir "fried" beef with bok choi, mushrooms, peppers, carrots and such with a spicy gf orange sauce. Keep moving forward and stay hydrated.
Mmmm....stir fry sounds really good! I had a berry smoothie today with all the leftover fruit from DD's birthday party. It was delicious!

Good morning!!! What a wonderful day! The sun is out and it is already warm.
We have had a busy week. DH was off the first of the week so we were outside all day every day. Got some long hikes in and finished building some steps.
Tuesday night we went to see The Monkees 50th anniversary concert. What a blast!! Wednesday, I mowed while he trimmed some bushes. Yesterday, he went back to work so I had errands to run. Still got our 4 miles in before dinner. Today I clean the house and do laundry. Hoping that low stays away from us so we can cookout this weekend!
Whew I am tired! Lol
Hope you all have a safe and fun Memorial Day weekend!! :)

We have had a busy week. DH was off the first of the week so we were outside all day every day. Got some long hikes in and finished building some steps.

Good morning! 5 LS miles done and I'm heading out to the farm market in a bit:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull: Our simple burger and dog grilling day tomorrow is now going to be a big BBQ with ham as the big cut of meat. I'm proudish my dh chose that over pork butt. He also got turkey breast instead of legs. As soon as everything is away I'm off to the pool for swimming and at the behest of @epcotisbest I'm also going to work on some lounging there. Enjoy your weekend, remember sunscreen and stay hydrated.

I am still working out, just not posting. It is my son's final weeks before he graduates from 8th grade next Friday. All the activities for the 8th graders have been keeping me busy. LOL

I have been keeping up with my workouts. I haven't weighed myself, but I can tell I have lost some weight by the way my clothes fit. I think adding a bit more cardio in helped and I have also been taking longer walks now that summer weather has arrived. :)

Congrats on both your clothes fitting better and your ds' graduation. One of theese days I'm actually going to get on a scale again LOL. I stopped worrying about the weight and now go almost exclusively by how mt clothes fit and how I'm feeling in general:joyfull: IMHO it's a better way to gauge health and fitness:joyfull:

I think that's a better indicator anyway. I don't weigh myself...I go more by how I feel and by how my clothes fit. You can be at an ideal weight and yet completely unhealthy. I'd rather feel good than weigh what someone else tells me is ideal for me. Congrats on the way your clothes fit!

@epcotisbest , I can't even imagine what a great barbecue menu you have planned for the Memorial Day Weekend. Feel free to post pictures, so that I can drool all over my monitor here . . . :joyfull:
Just got back from a nice long trip to Orlando. Stayed at SSR. I grilled twice yesterday. We had bbq chicken for lunch, slow smoked while I tried to catch up with the yard work, then a couple of small strip steaks for dinner. Later today, after I watch the INDY 500, grilled meatloaf.

Grilled chicken, heavy on the bbq sauce:

When I get around to it I plan to write a brief trip report so watch for that. Lots of relaxing, bicycle riding, resort hopping and dining in the room. Since we were at SSR, we walked over to Disney Springs several times. The new section that just opened up is nice, but lots of high-end stuff that does not really appeal to me. Anyway, trip report will be up a little at a time sometime next week. No parks this trip so people will probably find it boring. Look for it later.

Yea! I'm looking forward to your TR! (By the way, I was at the parks from the 15th - 18th.)

Love your pictures of food!! Somehow, I don't think my barbecue this evening will look anything like yours! ;)
