Hello-
It's me again. :p
I did an upper body workout today. It was warm enough to have my sliding door open and have the fresh air and breezes cool me off as I was working out. I can't wait until it is this warm on a regular basis. It's coming soon! :)
Way to go. Yes, spring is right around the corner. We have trees and azaleas blooming right now! Hit 84 today and according to local weathermen, that is a new record for this date in our area, topping the old record by some two degrees.

Haha. Yes, I was trying to be polite, in case someone here was absolutely besotted with a candidate. ;)
Yea, I suppose I should have thought of that, but, if it helps there are varying degrees of nausea. From feeling queasy to inducing projectile vomiting in that group so that should take care of those that would be upset. I won't reveal how they are individually rated.;)

Good morning JM's No More trouble Zones (I'm starting to think she's lying about that LOL) It's going to be well into the 60s so I'm going walking today but with the time change my first group can't go out until after 7:( This screws us up as we like to leave out when the school bus gets our kids:):):):)

OK, I am still on a plateau and have not lost any weight in awhile but am still eating better and walking more. I find that frustrating as I like to see measurable results.
In addition to the exercise, I have mentioned many times about eating better, watching the carbs and calories thing and often boring y'all with my food photos.
So here is an observation...eating differently changes your body and your taste as well. It took awhile, but I no longer constantly crave sweets or potato chips. Another thing, and this is a biggie...having cut way, way back on processed, refined foods and eating more fresh veggies and yes, even some raw, and I do some smoothies occasionally, I just tried a processed protein snack bar. Not really important about the brand, but the big thing to me is it tasted like it was just full of chemicals. I could just be imagining things, but either way, instead of being satisfying and tasty, it was nasty and I felt like I could just tell there was a bunch of stuff in there that was far, far from natural or healthy. One bite was more than enough. Threw the rest of the bar away and will give away the rest of the box at the office so they at least don't go to waste.

That's beyond wonderful!!!!!!! Don't give up, never surrender (Galaxy Quest) You are doing great. It will take your body a while to adjust to where you are and the weight will come off much more slowly now that you have already lost so much. You've most likely added some muscle which weighs more than fat so you have to factor that into the equation. Good health isn't always about the number on your scale. BTW I love all your food pics so keep them coming.

Good morning I did a bit of kickboxing before kicking my dh out to work:D Now I'm trying to figure out what to put in my smoothie. Thinking grapefruit, flax seed, spinach and maybe some spirulina.

First of all, I love your food pictures!! Although I'm not currently dieting (yet, I should be . . . :cautious: ), it can be really frustrating when you plateau. Happens to most people. As Figgy mentioned, you may be building muscle, etc., and muscle is heavier than fat. But to be leaner, stronger and fitter is a far better trade-off to me, than seeing the scale drop an additional few pounds. That's just my two cents worth here.

As for your tastes in food changing, I suppose that's a good thing. (But I wouldn't know--I still loves me my chocolate and chips! ;) )

I love the food pictures, too. I agree about the body composition changing. I would try on clothes that were previously a bit too take and start taking measurements. I moved away from worrying about numbers on the scale and just going by how my clothes fit.

I didn't work out yesterday, my hip was a bit cranky. I am beginning the think, from Googling around, I have hip impingement. -_- I read up on it, but I stopped. It was a bit too depressing. I have always been very active my whole life and I am rewarded with cartilage issues. Boo.

And, yesterday my husband was offered a job at the OCC. This is literally, the only offer he has had since he's been applying for jobs in August. We have two locations to choose from Pittsburg and southern New Jersey (suburban Philadelphia) I am really tired of moving and I have never been to either to place. I know I should be happy, but I am not.
